Yeh, attitude does have things to do with things. But i wasnt rude to the cops, who pulled me over and did do everything they asked me to. And the phone call made i asked her very nicely to begin with to ask for a 2nd opinion but they couldnt help me in redoing a hieght measurement, which then really cause me to be frustrated. If the cop that pulled me over would not help me then and contacting another station wouldnt either then it doesnt really leave me much choice. And doing a RWC doesnt cost 700 but which car really does get rwc the first time through, theres bound to be other things i need to fixing and getting a quote for seat belt and installation would cost around the $150 and knowing that im desprite for these parts before the easter break they will overcharge. And yeh the $186 fine... hehhhhh.......

Just a little update on the situation, Ive rang up another cop station today to try to get some information on my defect. And unexpectely thinking that maybe all cops are not just dicks, this one was a f*king bitch. I said to her nicely her i dont believe i was treated fairly and i did not get a height measure and i ask her nicely can you help me explain my situation. She said what does that have to do with her police station, why are you ringing us for? I said i wanted another police opinion and proof. She goes ring up the person you have spoken to and i explained that the cop wouldnt measure it infront of me on the night and that he was obviously targeting me for no good reason. At the end of the day these guys are just freaken bastards, and doesnt seem to me that any police would help. Also i asked her to explain to me this 7 days that i have to fix the car knowing its a long weekend making my days shorten to only 4. I asked her if this can be extended she also said WHY ASK ME FOR? Then i also asked why was i major defected for out of the 3 things she said HOW WOULD I KNOW ASK THE GUY WHO DEFECTED YOU. Great job to the police department that knows shit all, ive always thought they were there to SERVE and PROTECT, but i argee with the earlier post serve and protect my f*king ass. This has made me so angry, i have given up on these people, i think maybe the best way is to pay this fine or watever go get a new seat belt and do another RWC get a real freaken hieght measurement, go to vicroads. But i will still write up a letter to them for my complaint, but as if they are even gonna read it anyways. All up im expecting to pay $700 - 800. There goes my K.Rudd money before i even recieved it.

Just wondering if anyone knows if i was major defect do they only give 7 days until i cant drive my car any more? Cause i heard it was 28 days from a friend. Can someone clarify that?

I didnt even see them measure anything they did it with their naked eye. And yes the car had people in it. I dont know what the fine was for since alot of people i knew who had defects got away with nothing. On the fine it said it was for driving an unsafe vehicle.

Driving normally on a saturday night in Melbourne CBD on a saturday night, while trying to find a parking, a police vehicle pulled me over in the middle of Russel St. Blocking up a lane of traffic they decided to conduct an inspection of my asian vehicle. I was driving a R34GTT coupe only mods included an full exhaust system which was not loud with a silencer on. They pulled up my bonnet and found no illegal mods, so they then decided to say my car was too low. I told police i was running stock height and wheels with stock size and offset etc, i asked them how was my car too low, can you please show me where is it too low and how can it be too low, i even asked them have you used a form of measurment instead of just the naked eye to tell me that its too low. The cop said IVE MEASURED IT AND ITS TOO LOW, without showing me anything. They then went to my drivers seat belt and at the point of where the buckle was and there was a bit of rubbing on the belt. They looking into my boot and rear window, and looking at my rear speakers. Then decided to give me a major defect my vehicle for 3 reasons: 1. Car was too low 2. Seat belt was frayed 3. Rear speakers were not bolted on securely Without giving me any explainations, or chances for me to say anything, they stuck a yellow defect sticker on my car, major defect. They gave me a pathetic list of bull crap, and gave me a fine for $186 for driving an unsafe vehicle, and requires a RWC. My car was well over the clearance of 10CMS as i have measured at any point. I was truthfully unaware of my seat belt. And rear speakers not secured properly im like WTF. I really believe that i was treated unfairly and maybe racism was a factor and revenue making was another. I had 3 other passengers in the car as witnesses as i ask them to prove to me at which point of my car was too low and they did not give me any proof that they have conducted any height messurement tests. Does anyone believe that i was treated in a wrong manner and does anyone know what i should or can do now?

Just wanted to clear some confusion, these rims are stock R34 GTT they are 17inch 5*114.3. People are getting confused think they are GTR rims they are not but they do look a little bit simular with the colour.

Hey guys just got some new rims so the stock R34GTT set out. Its sprayed in GTR bronze colour. Comes with matching bronze centre caps. Has potenza tyres but not much tread left, still above the indicators though. Theres a few paint chips here and there and a parking scratch on 1 rim. Other than that theres nothing major, no buckles. Hey guys got some goodies for sale. 1. Apexi AVCR2 (silver and blue screen) with apexi stand, comes with all wiring but needs the actuator which can be replaced for less than 50 bucks. Screen is in excellent condition hardly any scratches. $430. 2. Apexi RSM (silver and blue screen) with apexi stand, comes with all wiring and also gsensor. No scratches on screen but on the top theres a lil bit of paint fade roughly 2 cm worth, nothing major cause you wouldnt be looking at that bit anyways. $230. 3. HKS pod no filter, a friend of mine blasted my mushroom filter with the hose while i wasnt looking and turned into moosh. Comes with the adaptor to fit in onto r33 gtst and r34 gtt. Buy your own mushroom filter for 30 bucks new on ebay. $25. 4. Nismo carbon fibre gear knob, screw on to most nissans. light scratches on the top as every day driving would cause. $60 5.
