  2. Hi guys i just brought a blitz bov with the pipe, and i want to install it but have no clue. Ive got a R33 series 2. Ive got a stock bov at the moment that is plumb back and i need to know how to connect all the tubes. The blitz bov is a atmos so no plumb back. The blizt bov will connect from the intercooler to the pipe where the stock bov connects to this is right underneth the air filter. What i need to do is: 1. I want to know what lines goes where. 2. I want to leave the stock bov intact but somehow block it off so it does no work no more. How do i do that? 3. What do i do with the plumb back bit? Please educate me on how to install my bov. Your help is greatly appreciated! Ive put up some pics hopefully it would help out to explain my situation. Thanks for the help guys!
  3. Can i block the stock bov by just pulling out the vac lines?
  4. Ive just brought a new bov where the pipe connects from the intercooler just underneath the airfilter. I know how to install it but have no clue on what to do with the stock BOV. The stock BOV is connected to the pipe on top of the engine block, do i leave the stock bov there and block it off or should i take the stock bov off? So what i want to know is: 1. If i was to leave the stock bov intact and block it off will it affect anything? 2. If i was to block the stock bov how do i do it, please give me instructions? 3. If i was to take the stock bov what do i put to replace that hole? Sorry im noob at this stuff so please give some advice and instructions. Your help would be appreciated! Cheers! 8. Hey guys, Just thought i'd post a bit about a friend I met off the forums.. He does interior retrimming and has produced DIY kits for Silvias/180SXs when he was a sponsor on ns.com.. I thought they looked wiked as i personally reckon that the stock trims in my 33 are ugly so i asked him to produce a kit for skylines.. He told me to see if there are any interests if he were to produce it as it takes a lot of time and accuracy to cut these out as templates and provide a DIY guide with photos.. He offered the S13 kits for $300 delivered australia wide with a range of many vinyl colours, I reckon these are well worth it and he has sold to many many people on the forums and all are happy.. Just thought i'd gather some interests from SAU start a group buy or something and maybe get an introductory discount or something.. I rkn i can get him to make it $250 delivered.. maybe even LESS! For more information visit: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...pic=114262&st=0 Vic.

  12. I get that its easier to take the box out from the tube to the turbo but i think i saw a seal from the tube to the afm. Should i break that seal? Plus also does anyone know if ill use more petrol after installing a pod air filter? Also if the whole engine was stock what sound would i be making after having a pod? Thanks!
  13. Im planning on changing my R33 stock box air filter to a Apexi Power intake pod filter. After opening the box and taking the panel filter out, connecting to the box and the afm is 4 gold bolts with a gold mesh filter, the gold bolts are welded on to the frame. The only way of opening it is to either break the bolts and destroy the mesh filter or go from behind which leaves me in this tight space with limited tools = impossible. The afm to the tube is factory sealed which i do no want to break open. What should i do??? Break the bolts??? or is there an easier way? Thanks!

  18. I was wondering if people can tell me the difference between series 1 and 2 R33GTSTs. And also the difference between types eg. Type M. Im am currently looking towards buying a 96 model series 2, manual, white, with 60,000kms on the clock. Totally stock engine and very clean, comes with Apexi adjustable coilovers and either AVS 17 rims or Volks 17 rims deep dish. Oh yeah the car has ABS. How much is the average price for that discription? And which rim is worth more AVS or Volks? Can someone give me some detail please on what i am buying?
