I say for that price it is front wheel drive, and that engine that is in the pic isnt a GTIR engine ,or it has had the quad throttle bodies removed and standard sss intake and manifold put on.I say that if thats the old engine it is actually out of a u13 bluebird similar to gtir but not gtir, no dolid lifters, quad throttles, better head etc.

i saw the auto one run,it seems about right on the money for the power.33's came out with 180kw at the engine,If you factor on approx 20% drivetrain loss it would work out right for a stock car, so with a few small bolt ons,( your fuel pump would of made no difference unless you had more boost into it etc) 202hp is right.My blue chaser that ran after it made 255hp with slight mods but way to rich fuel mixture so could rev it out all the way to release it true to date potential.

Hahaha i wouldnt touch these guys with a 10 foot poll (miles and Allan), leave your car there and you'll be told you have a stuffed engine,( not me but some people in know) then find out there was nothing wrong with the engine to which they resell to someone else and put another lucky dip engine in your car.Suggest you go have a look at some of there work and any other workshops work before going ahead with any work. It may be best to get the pair done so the valving is right for both so your car doesnt drive un equally.

Yep the oil and water lines can be a bitch to put back on, hopefully you put thte copper washes back in to otherwise they will end up leaking if they already havent.Next time get some freeze spray in a can (and put it on first before you even undo any of the nuts) similar to inox/wd40 it freezes the bolt or stud so shrinking it slightly and to 'crack' (Not literally) the join, then it gets down into the thread to then act a a lube, its good guys only about $15 a can from auto places.

If you are on a budget........ You can buy turbo timers for as little as $40( ebay is your friend), thats all you need dont need all the fancy wancy things that come with it .Boost controllers are cheap too $30 for the very basic ones which do run into spiking issues though, thats what i have found with some of them.Turbo smart brand do reasonable ones for around $100 but yes very easy to install. The intercooler , depends on what type of blitz unit but $1200 sounds pretty right also including install, but there are cheaper kits around,depending on what you want to do to the car, ie after big horsepower or something just comfortable for the street. You can get complete exhaust throu many companys, xforce brand do a great bang for buck, i think just jap sell them for around $750 complete (including dump pipe) supply only exhaust.Buy it and get some the boys up here to help put it in for you or a workshop, many to choose from. Go to enzed an buy some hose for the oil return and rubber mounts you may have to buy them from nissan.
