  1. Got any pictures of your 180?? IM interested to have a gander at it from a 180 enthusiast.
  2. Makes it hard if you just want to enjoy your ride these days......
  3. Yeah no worries ,you could of got a few more runs in but heat soak probably you mean that you might not of gone any faster, but hey ita fun as to go!!
  4. hows that clutch goin jas after the drags???
  5. Most electronic boost controllers are over rated.Blitz are ok I did have one but had issues with it not wanting to work porperly with my old 33 which had just a ats hi flow turbo. it didnt like the wastgate arm being modified and the wasgate was far too small fo it. AVCR ARE a not bad unit aswell. The boost spiking cant just be pin pointed to EBC's alot more is involved depending on your set up. Eboost2 are from what i heard to be a reasonably good unit.Never used one but the first eboost worked very well on several cars i knew. Best boost controller is either straight off the wastgate or a simple bleed valve...But thats just my opinion and from experiences.
  6. yeah was a great day and you were doing well for your very first time will, well done!!
  7. yeah was good, hey allara get home alright?? didnt get lost?
  8. yea was short, but it was closer to 420pm , obviously not the two hours
  9. home now, not a bad turn out today, but alot were parked up.
  10. i'll be there just a few minutes late at the etta.Prob 1130am.
  11. Id suggest to bring some basic hand tools with ya tyre gauge .So you'll be at the etta? Probably near that servo to get away from the speed bumps up top might be best.
  12. but racing starts at 2pm still yeah?
  13. Ive had a some last minute 'issues' that i have to deal with, not sure if i can make it to the meet point which was going to be the ettamogha pub at 1115am.Will know the sooner i get off here.Otherwise people meet out there.
  14. so whats the go if it rains?? do people who have paid to they get there money back if it is canceled due to weather??
  15. The weather isnt looking to flash here, hope its all good for racing today!! just checking out the weather out there. here http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDQ10090.html or here Hmm one says one thing then another http://www.weatherzone.com.au/qld/darling-downs
  16. ive got a 4 stroke briggs and straton lawn mower which is faster than that thing.
  17. Ah righto so got yourslef a GTR now.heard rumour of it wasnt sure. And im only gay for you sweety my wife would kill me otherwise.!!!
  18. Thanks col..
  19. So you racing chris??Need me show you how to drive the thing? hehe.If your racing you will need long pants, jeans are fine and a long sleeve shirt and a helmet , i can bring mine if someone needs one .damn i remember what is was like to race in this heat out there wearing that and damn it aint great but its a ball to get out there!!!
  20. Keep the personal shit out of it....Stop acting like your 12 years old, im sick to death of reading this shit between you and allara, Hell i dont think i have even met both of you, if you cant keep it civilized , keep your comments to yourselves......both of you!!! Now... it only takes max two hours (depending on traffic )to willowbank. I was thinking along the lines of 1115 am meet at ettamogha then get going no later than 1145am, no later . I suggest to bring a esky with cold water bottles or the like cause damn it gets hot out there (predicted to be in the 30 degrees tomorrow ) ..also sunscreen and some uhf radios for the drive down, (if you have them). If we need to stop for others a moby vics well it will be a fly by stop.be fueled and ready to go , otherwise it makes people cranky when others arent on the ball. Racing starts at 2pm and its going to be great to catch up with some people.
  21. sweet sounds good fella's.So how about we meet lets say at the ettamogha pub and for the people coming from caloundra we can stop at moby vics servo if need be.
  22. sweet.Unfortunatley i can only go as a spectator, my fuel pump is dieing and i dont trust it , i havent got the time to change it.Anyone from the sunshine coast wanting to head to this toogether , jump on the sunny coast thread and we will work something out.
  23. yeah im definitly going.Maybe should head down as a group.. just a idea.
  24. Farrk me what a shit fight...here we go again. JJay and Andrew, both w58 and r154 toyota gearboxes have there issues, and so do Rb25 gearboxes,It goes to how you treat them,(flat changing is not really good for any gearbox for that matter) not necessarily how much power you are putting in front of them BUT how much torque , you know the stuff that makes your engine twist when you blip the throttle on idle?? You can run way more than 400hp on a rb25 gearbox...Many of you may not know that they have the same bearing diameters as GTR gearboxes, but with less grip of a 4wd car they are quite strong in a rear wheel drive car. A Rb25 gearbox is basically the same as a GTR box but without the transfer case. The Toyota boxes aren't too bad either, but they tend to get a broken washer or shim in them which causes gearbox to jam, a factory fault i believe but makes it worse even with minor hp increases . The Getrag 6 speed is the ducks nuts for toyotas, can withstand coupious amounts of torque and power, but once again how you treat it is a major factor. So anyone going to the track day on saturday at willowbank? I am but not racing,
  25. seems the only thing that is retarded is you......
