We have just had a similar problem with our S2 stagea. First I bought a brand new tps as fault code and a mechanic said thats what the problem was. Fitted new tps and no different. Went to different mechanic and I was told it is a fault with the ecu that causes tps problem and can't be fixed. Couldn't find a std ecu to replace (rang about two dozen wreckers around aus.) so we are having a Vi-pec ecu board fitted this week.

The tps was getting eratice volts from computer. We sent it away but it coulnd't be fixed. I have been assured Vi-pec will run our S2 Neo tiptronic auto. If not I am going to hurt somebody!!

TPS wasn't problem. ECU stuffed. Vi-pec being fitted next week. I had air flow meter out yesterday to measure up for adaptor so I noted number. I want to keep air box. No. is; 22680 31U00, A36-608, E60, 8X17E.

Stickers on box had. Jayrad radiators, JR6772J. AE02A, PL-020444.

It was from local rad. shop so I take it was after market and it did have auto cooler pipes. Go the rad. sock!!

Wheels & tyres you see in pic $400.00. Some big skids lelt in tyres. Grab the rad. for $ 100.00 (driftn). My new rad. cost $450.00. I'm going a Vi-pec ecu board next week so I have some more bits to part with. An Apexi SAFC with instuctions $200.00 plus post. Also I have a Jaycar Booooost controller, lead, handset and instuctions $175.00 plus post. My Apexi 'Multi Checker' will also be sold if it can't be used beside Vi-pec!! Trades??

The rad. i bought was a replacement to suit a stagea and the bonus was it is 25mm compared to std 16mm. It was 'brand new' at $450.00, alu. core. I had to sell my little left finger to pay for it. I have used rad. socks for years now. I took sock out today to see what it had caught. It had a heap of head gasket i had scraped and lost into water jacket plus some machining swarf. It came with rad. Prior post on head gasket story.

What is your gaurd lip to centre of hub measurements? What shocks & springs do you have?

I have one in good nic taken out of our wagon a few weeks ago. I replaced with an 1" core one. I bought local so I could see what I was getting and at the time couldn't wait for it to come from Japan.

I have been assured that the Vi-pec will run our S2 with an auto. If not I will not pay for it and I will have to hurt somebody!! Tangles; We decided not to go 2nd hand ecu because no warranty and Vi-pec can be tuned to our mods!!
