Guys up for sale is the aforementioned EBC. Bought this through a mate with the intention of installing in my GTR. Plans have changed and turbo upgrade has been postponed till next year sometime. Probably should have explained that by "basic mods" i meant 250kw atw (Power fc, cam gears etc etc)

Hi guys Picked up 2 bottles of 300V 10-40 on the weekend, but now after some reading I'm wondering if I shouldnt swap them for the 15-50? Currently theres Motul Turbolight 4100 10-40 in there. It's for a daily driven 90' GTR with basic mods. And quickly, when doing an oil change, how much should I put in? From what I've gathered, around 5L. My engine doesnt not burn any oil as far as I can see. Ive searched extensively and theres just too many different answers out there! Thanks in advance, Andrew

Anyone have any idea of who stocks this? It's not on the Greddy website, strangely enough. In fact, I'm not even sure it's made by Greddy, thats just what ciscokid said on his profile. Well, I found that the measurement between wheel centre and guard is exactly 360mm on both front and rear wheels. Which means, given that stock height is the highest setting, the rears can come down another 10mm, and the fronts another 20mm. /sigh... Might just stick a new set of springs in, I was hoping to drop the rear 20mm.

Hi guys, I'm currently running Tein NR "shock/spring" combo in my 32, which came with the car. I was just wondering, they are 4-setting height adjustable, separated by 10mm. Do the grooves that circulate it show the different height settings? If that is the case... mine can only go down another 10mm. Which puzzles me because the car looks REALLY high... stock height, if not higher! Surely height adjustable suspension should be lower than stock when on the 2nd lowest setting! Appreciate your thoughts. Andrew

Hi fellas This morning on this bloody cold day went to start the GTR which was parked on the driveway on a slope. It started, hovered on 1000rpm for a sec then dropped out. It did this twice, before starting perfectly on the 3rd try. What could cause this? It's probably nothing, but I'm wondering if there's an issue there that I should handle before it escalates. Hi guys, As topic suggests my ECU has told me there is a fault in the "R" afm... this stands for 'rear' right? Which one is it, the top or the bottom? Cheers guys Andrew

Problem solved, after 3 bloody months of wondering.... Turned out to be the plug on the lower AFM wasnt even in properly. (Theyre vacuum sealed or something, meaning I couldnt feel it was loose until we took the upper afm off) Cleaned the terminals etc etc, and she's right as rain.

Also forgot to mention... we hooked up a fuel pressure gauge and I took it home for the weekend... no fuel pressure drop at all when the stuttering occured. I sure as hell hope its the AFMs!

Seeing as how this is an intermittent problem (it doesnt always give trouble) will the ecu diagnostic show a fault anyway? Or only when the problem happens?

Thanks for the help steve (im from fordlaser.com forums too, wrxtasy was my nick) I forgot to add, that when the problem does strike the GTR, I can't rev past 2500 rpm... bounces off it like a rev limiter. Does this still sound like AFMs? I'm searching through these forums compiling a list of similar problems that people have had, and hopefully the solutions they came to. I'll then show that to my mechanic so he has some idea of the situation. BTW steve... relatively new to the GTR, how do I do an ECU diagnostic? Cheers. Andrew

This is freaky.... Same problem, same name as me (Andrew) same car! Mine spent 2 weeks at the mechanics (Although no progress was made) and it refused to stuff up on them, so they couldnt diagnose the problem. It did it once, and from there they suspected AFMs. I won't go into my personal opinions of this place but basically they had a suspicion and just never ended up acting on it. I needed my car back after 2.5 weeks...so nothing was done. Car still does it. Any updates Twitchy? I'm really over this problem now!

Did anyone attend this cruise? Was it alright?
