Hmmm... The most I can say about mine is the buildup of dirt in the crevices of the filters. If I can assertain (spl) whether these should be changed, I'll grab the pair off ya. Andrew

Hi guys, Knowing full well how to use the search function and even the sticky thread on skylines and wheel offsets, i've still not been able to find an answer for this.... Im looking at a set of these rims for my GTR R32 lowered on tein coilovers, in 18x9.5. The question posed is, what offset... They come in +15, +22, +28 and +34. Im even getting conflicting answers from potential suppliers of the rims haha... Going by the suitable TE37 offset for my car, which is +22, would the CE28n share this offset or do the different designs of the wheels change it? Ie, would a +22 on a ce28 be different from a +22 in te37 in fitment? I'm rambling so i'll just leave it there Appreciate any help Thanks in advance Andrew

Having used 3 types of oil since owning my GTR, including motul 4100 turbolight, motul 300v, and Neo platinum - all 10W40, i'd have to say the 300v came out on top. Pricy yes, but the car was alot smoother than either of the other 2. Its only really pricy the first time you use it, because you need 2 bottles to put 6L into the motor (or so ive been told) so the next time you'll only need the 4L (1 bottle).

Thanks for the help boys, Ive had a look at the Rb25 write up, and even tried to follow it and find the valve in my engine bay, but it turns out theyre not the same - Ive also heard someone mention that the valve is under the manifold? Cowie, if you've got the wherabouts of anything on the RB26 i'd be grateful! Thanks again Andrew

Hi guys Given the extensive coverage of this job on other skyline engines - Im wondering about this for the rb26, as I'm having a few minor idle hunting issues when under electrical load (headlights etc) and I heard that cleaning this valve may fix it - Can anyone shed some light as to where / how it is done ? Hey guys, This really isnt that bad a problem but it's doing it more and more often these days... no matter if the car is warm or cold... Ill turn the key and she'll kick over and instead of starting shooting nicely up to 1000rpm, she trickles in... hard to explain, its like theres no bounce to it. Once it passes that, she idles and drives fine. The power FC is currently tuned to v-power racing, the 100octane ethanol stuff... Ive heard that this is more viscous than say BP ultimate and something (lines, injectors?) is getting clogged. Could this be the problem? Thanks in advance Andrew

Pardon my ignorance, haha but where is the aircon belt - is it in the engine bay near power steering etc or is it behind the dash? Cheers Andrew

Hi all, Just today my car started doing this - on switching the aircon on and off, the unit makes a drawn out, high pitched squeal - especially loud when turning it off. Its nothing worth stressing about, just wondering if anyone know what any possible causes would be? Thanks in advance Andrew
