hey guys, i was just wondering if there is a difference between the turbo on a R33 GTR and GTST i have searched for the dimentions every where but i cant find them. A mate said that the GTR turbo is smaller is that true? would putting one on a gtst 2 replace a stuffed turbo work?. cheers.

The photocopy i got from transport SA last week said for a R32 & R33 turbo is 360mm minimum front and back bump clearance/eyebrow height and yep this is measured from the centre of the wheel to the guard.

ah ok im thinking of the one from NSW with carbon fibre bonnet and nos and a fair bit done to it

yeah i know the one i looked at it but to get it into SA rego would have cost too much for me.

i paid 32k and its well worth it with koni adjustables and full red leather retrim, work 18" mags and a fair few other things.

Yeah its 5 speed, im paying 2200 a year. thats with the full leather retrim and mags and kit covered.

Nope neons are illegal and transport sa will make you take them off wen you go over the pits even if you were not defected for them, sum crap about not adr aproved and there is no need for them.

This is my bus i only picked it up about a month ago and gotta get it in SA rego still, i think its a pretty decent ride for a 19yr old, and before any one says it no my folks did not pay 4 it i have worked hard to get it.

jeeez $4500 i just insured a R34 gtt full comp. and im 19 and lost my licence for 6mth and got it back in january and all im paying is about $2200 and thats thru just cars.

yeah im still tossing up weather 2 get it freighted or not but i have heard some dodgy stories about freighting cars so ill have to see how much it is all going to cost.
