If that's the case is that repairable? I've had it into Pedders before for alignment and suspension install and they never mentioned it.
I took it back to them thinking one side ride height was off but he said it was normal, and then said the rear end looks like it's tightened off to one side.
Anyone know what could make an r33 rear axle sit slightly over from where it should be? IE rear left wheel poked out, rear right wheel sunken ~25mm? Collapsed bushings?
Usually aftermarket cams allow for more air to be ingested and expelled from the combustion chamber at high rpm, often at the expense of lower end or midrange.
Bummer Mark
Mine is still going strong even with a run in the mountains and a few higher speed runs.
This weekend's test is getting washed. Fingers crossed.
Definitely spoke style. My 18 x 9.5 +38 wouldn't clear calipers up front but the 18 x 9.5 +20's would. Same type of rims.
The lesser offset rims have way less aggressive spoke curve on them.
Maybe that turbo combo is just in a sweet spot for diminishing returns with the engine & setup you mentioned. Not too small to choke the setup, not too large that heat or other inefficiencies become apparent?
They sure can if they move the load from your hub centres to your wheel studs which often is what happens with spacers. Apply lots of force (track day) to wheel studs instead of intended area on hub and you can get studs snapping while you're flying around a track.
Would it just need to be faster than an SS to back it up? That's not that hard.
If you want it to be faster than HSV's or modded LS3's then that's harder. My friend's SSV ute is an animal and I've only just got my car similarly fast as his with plenty of work
Nice looking BB cartridges Stao. Do you expect the BB's to make a huge difference? I've used bush and BB turbos before, but never seen back to back comparo of same turbo from same maker, so I'm very interested to see it.
Huh? I thought Amazon don't do anything to Australia, only to US?
A year or two ago I had to get the stuff I ordered on Amazon shipped to a specialist outside-US shipping company and then onto myself - comGateWay.
I've looked at this thread a few times and am considering doing it to my 33 instead of a Nismo style lip which is more expensive and I'm not really sold on.
Has anyone been running one long term? Or did everyone give up on these??
I take your point on the spacers, but I'm also trying to be sure that if I was to get the smaller wheels, that I wouldn't still have a similar problem.
