  1. That would've looked epic for someone following behind you. Spraying fluro green or yellow foam all over the shop, would've looked like some sort of James Bond car weapon.
  2. Thanks everyone. I'll get it look at asap with a timing light. Hopefully the belt has been installed correctly and the CAS isn't set like that to compensate for cam gears being teeth out or whatever.
  3. Does someone setting it with a timing light require a dyno or just the light itself? And if I want to just set it closer to where it should be in the middle or just touch nothing until I get someone to look with a timing light?
  4. Hey guys, I just fitted an EBC to my GTS-T and noticed that it was pinging like crazy at only around 10psi or so, which seems awfully low for a stock GTS-T. The only other mods really are air filter and cat-back exhaust. The normal GST-T map should be more likly to R&R at that boost and mods I would think. However whenever I'm parking or moving real slow I can smell the richness, so it's definitely over rich around idle, but must be way lean when it's loaded up on boost + revs. After thinking about it a bit I remember when I bought it I noticed the CAS position looks almost fully to the right, like if the nuts were undone and you twisted it almost all the way clockwise. It looked much more "turned" than what I remember the rb25 I had in my 180sx was, which from memory was much more a neutral position. I don't know if this setting is advanced or retarded, I would assume advanced, which I'm thinking could be the cause of this pinging. My question to you all is, can you tell from visually inspecting a CAS position if it's wrong like that or could it be one of the many other causes IE bad fuel, clogged fuel filter, bad pump etc. I am planning to get it looked at when I fit a dump pipe, and I've turned the boost back to stock for now, but I just wanted to see if any of you guys agree?
  5. Edit: nevermind, just re-read they're 34 coilovers. GL with sale.
  6. What are the Kei Office coilovers like for daily driving? Are the dampers adjustable?
  7. Hi Gus, Do you know what spring rate the Tein HA's are front and rear? Are there any knocks or leaks with them? How are they for daily driving?
  8. Nicholas Cage never had to go on a forum in gone in 60 seconds... Try doing what they did and connect a big red button to something under the bonnet and press it while winking.
  9. I've seen the way you drive... you've got a heavy foot. You'll blow yourself to pieces
  10. I don't think it's cool to put GT-R badges on GTS-T's, however I just recently bought an r33 with a GTR wing already fitted. I always was against a GTS-T having any kind of "sacred" GT-R parts, but I have to say I like my car better with that wing, it suits the car well and isn't over the top. And I can't be screwed going out specifically to find blanking plates for the sides of the wing to replace the sides now that say GT-R but are body coloured and hardly stand out. I've already had about 4 people ask me if it's a GTR or "the twin turbo one" and each time I've said "nope it's just a gts-t". I'm not trying to fool anyone, and wouldn't have fitted the wing myself, but I think it looks good, I'm glad it's on there and don't care about whether people think I'm being a try hard with this car, I'm just enjoying driving the thing...
  11. Do you have any pictures to show what you mean? I'm guessing you mean like what 89CAL was referring to earlier, drill holes at the bottom of the plate and lift it? That wouldn't change the recess issue (the gap behind the plate) would it?
  12. Wouldn't the spacer have to be like 5cm or more though to fill that gap right? Does that look ridiculous having 2 thick blocks of rubber holding the number plate out? Photos are most welcome
  13. I was thinking metal spacers but I thought they might vibrate or rattle - a pet hate of mine. For those with the metal ones, do they make noise at all? I went into bunnings and asked for spacers and got the look, so I may have to try a different bunnings. I notice now that my friend has bought a GT-T that the GTS-t's number plate recess is like 2-3 times as deep, so he only needs tiny little rubbers to make the plate fit flush. I've also found this driver side mounting bracket on one front bar in my searching: What's the legality of mounting a number plate there in QLD? Thanks for all the responses btw.
  14. WHere'd you get the spacers from?
  15. I've noticed that to fit my QLD personalised front plate that you have to bend the plate and make it look all crappy. I was thinking about trying to find some rubber spacers to sit behind the bolts and hold the numberplate off the bar so it can sit straight again, but the recess is pretty deep so it'd look pretty weird like that too. I've been looking for other 33's to go up and have a look, but haven't seen too many since I noticed this... What does everyone else (with a s2 r33) do with their front number plate?
  16. Incredible that's the first time I've seen on load surge like that - bet the dyno operator though "WTF?!?" for a bit... Cool find gotRICE.
  17. Is there somewhere you can point me to with images that show an inner hub diameter and outer hub diameter?
  18. Hey Hughesy, On that front bar you had, is that a number plate bracket on the left side of it? If so, where did you get that from? The stock mounting point means my number plate is all bent and crap looking..
