Ah. SK is great, have spoken with him once or twice about my "SK" suspension setup. Good guy huh. Do you adjust them for different purposes yourself? -
Man this totally reminds me of my old ca18 180sx in 2004. I had a friend with a ca 180 who was making tons more power than mine mod-for-mod. The more money I spent went nowhere/backwards. Everyone said "his was a freak and mine was more like the normal crappy CA's that can't make power", "should have bought an r32 or an sr20 powered car blah blah blah". I raged, I got upset, I threw money at it trying, late nights, everything we could think of to get it to make numbers and it just refused. As soon as boost came on there was a surge of power and then nothing up top. It felt fast for half a second then just made noise. Eventually I had the car on for a final retune because it was up for sale, I couldn't stand it any more, I was fed up. Then, by complete accident the tuner found intake manifold butterflies that were possibly an optional factory extra (don't know for sure), but were always partially closed hence limiting all airflow and power. The tuner tied them open with a 10c cable tie. After that, the thing ripped. Made something like 120hp extra than pre-ziptie , even made more power than my friend's. After that it was all worth it. TL;DR - don't give up. You have an rb25 neo. They make power.

What made you choose selby swaybars instead of whiteline out of interest? -

This wait is killing us. I need to know if you've got more power, because I always say "got 363 yet?" to my friend with a stockish r34. He's knows what I'm talking about because I showed him this build and told him to "DO IT!" -
Good luck Stao, hope it goes well. Big turbine power with little turbine response really is having your cake and eating it too.

Have you done a leakdown test on the motor Martin? From what I remember you've checked and re-checked all of the breathing in and out, so I'm just trying to think of some restriction you may have missed. Could there be a rag in the intercooler end tank or something silly?

300Kw Unopened 25 Club...

That's very decent for 555's. From memory my Nismo 740s were @ roughly 80-85% on last tune at 304kw with a bit of thickness up top. Enough for what I want but not a hell of a lot more. I don't know if the nismo injectors have a nicer spray pattern for low rpm/load than ID injectors, but at least I have enough flow for the job either way. -

I believe they are rated to about 275 LPH but actually reach those claims at real world voltages and boost pressures, unlike the walbro that does it at higher voltage without boost pressure. At least that's what my mechanic at the time explained it as. I've had a walbro on my old car's rb25 setup, and on this car, and I now have a Tomei one, and the Tomei one far outflowed the walbro on the like-for-like setup. My tuner tested my current one in front of me by pulling off the fuel rail feed and letting the pump feed the fuel into a measuring cup for 30 seconds to extrapolate the flow it could produce for my current e85 setup (since it needs more volume) and it was sufficient for the power aims I'm going for. But I reckon if I was shooting 350+ like yours Mat, I'd need a massive jump in fuel system setup. Kind of like reaching the limit of stock turbo power and having massive expenditure to go to the next level. But I'm yet to see another single swimmer pump outperform it as a drop in for stock. -

Word. Nismo/Tomei is same I think. -
Wow man that's no good. Don't worry though man, if the engine's healthy (certainly sounds like it is) then it's just a matter of time until you find the cause. Keep methodically checking through the possible causes and you'll nail it eventually.

Sorry to hear this Antz. I had my car stolen years back and was half stripped when the police found it. Very glad they didn't manage to get your engine etc. Good luck with getting it back on the road. -

Awesome, interested to see how this turns out. How is it in price compared to the drug money that Edge is? Honestly I was expecting all kinds of horribleness to come out of my sump with the conditions I run mine in, but it just looked like regular old oil to me. After all the reading etc I was halfway prepared for sea monkeys to be in the oil when I checked it.
