  1. Time for the track now hey?
  2. Well finally found the right clamp. Hopefully should have it kicked over today, will be tuned this week if not the week after. I'm hoping that it's big enough, but if it isn't, I'll be going the next size up. I picked up a 6765 this week, they are so light it isn't funny. I was thinking how the hell can this have a 900hp rating? It feels like a toy!
  3. It has been generally pretty warm lately. I invested in a Lambda meter anyway. Hopefully United man up and start selling at their other depots too
  4. I was running dual maps for a time, but it just isn't the same. I'd rather carry spare E85 than cruise on 98. Yeah mate, def a popular item
  5. Maybe Tempe Caltex really is E85 then!
  6. On the dyno, there were NO noticeable differences between tuning it on Manildra, United or E85 mixed with 98. We do about 5 E85 tunes a week and have so for about a year. I'm just relaying a message from the person who tunes them.
  7. Sweet guys, once you go E85, you'll never go back anyway. In my own car I've gone from 850's, to 1000's, Indy Blue's and now the ID2000's. Haven't run the ID's on pump yet, but interested to hear of anyone who does. I've been on E85 for over 2 years now, best thing I ever did...along with the dog gear set
  8. My workmate tuned an EVO on Caltex pump ethanol yesterday, didn't display any differences from Manildra, United or 'Super E85'
  9. Will be able to answer this for you next week! But yeah so far the biggest thing with these billet turbo's is their ability to make heaps more power for the size that they over what we're all used to. Take the Forced Performance turbo's on the EVO's for example, a 53mm turbo punching out 290kW at all four is pretty impressive. Man this is psyching me up! I better go find that clamp that I need!
  10. On paper it shouldn't but I have seen the same turbo on a car customer and the drivability is awesome. It was a 2.5L rex, compared to a GT35, it made 45 more kW at all four and wasn't out of puff, that was on 29psi. If only we could have tried 40psi... Compared to the T66 it had on it before, it drove heaps better. The real test is when you crank big boost into it though to see how it would stack up compared to the Z. Looks like I'll be the test mule!
  11. Unleaded was $1.20, certainly not a good way to get people to convert if they have to buy a fuel flex box and have poorer fuel consumption!
  12. Man, I've been caught out with the wrong sized V-band flange (didn't get it when I bought the turbo) which has been a bit of a pain! Hopefully I'll get on top of it, want to race in 3 weeks! Here's a dodgy mobile pic I took
  13. One of my colleagues just told me that Caltex at Tempe in Sydney have it for sale now, it's priced at $1.09/L!! Thieves, and yes it states between 70-85% ethanol on a pamphlet. We'll be keen to test some before next week if we can
  14. It's official... http://www.powertune.com.au/ http://www.powertune.com.au/precision.html
  15. Well mine is on and should be tuned in a couple of weeks! Word in the pits is Powertune in Sydney have become agents for Precision and will be testing the well known sizes on their SR20 first and a big one for their R34. Time to put an end to these Mustang and DynoJet figures!
  16. Will separate if it means selling! Power FC with hand controller $650 2 x Z32 air flow meters $400 GReddy Y-pipe with Trust air filters (less than 1000 km's!) $300
  17. $400 I'd say. Price drop to $1300 for the lot!!
  18. What were you interested in? Have someone on for the Y-pipe and filters already
  19. 6 sold pending payment
  20. Hey people, I have 12 of these up for grabs, no longer needed. They are brand new, unused in the boxes. For those of you unknown to these injectors, they have so much control you will still be able to run them on pump fuel as well as Ethanol/Methanol and with E85 available in most states by the end of the month - NOW IS THE TIME! They also flow 3700cc @ 130lb for the racers out there. Happy to separate if need be. Bought as spares which aren't required. My loss is your gain! PJ 0430 767 845
  21. As the title suggests, this setup is priced to sell fast, all low k's and in perfect working order. Still in car running after just being tuned. Upgrading to a Haltech, so no longer required. $1500ono Located in Fairfield, Sydney. 0430 767 845 PJ
  22. Take the synchro's off the parts list and replace them with a PPG dog gear set
