Perfect condition and straight bolt in with factory impedance curve and a spray pattern as good as if not better than standard. PM or pick up in Sydney's inner west. $400 + postage Cheers, PJ
  11. As the title reads I have a couple of these direct fit pumps unused, purchased before the dollar crashed and put the prices up. Be quick!! 14. FOR SALE: Trust T88-34D turbo kit for SR20DET ITEM CONDITION: Perfect working order, low kilometres and next to NO shaft play PRICE: $4,000 LOCATION: Sydney, Inner West CONTACT: PM DELIVERY & CONDITIONS: Will ship at buyers expense As the topic reads I'm selling this monstrous kit as I no longer have a use for it. Since I didn't want to raise the bonnet the front housing has been milled to suit. The engine sat higher with Nismo mounts (S13) It is in perfect working order and has not travelled many kilometres, the turbo has the same amount of shaft play as they do out of the Trust Factory. The kit includes: 1 x Trust T88-34D with 22cm V-band rear housing rated to 850ps 1 x Trust 321 grade stainless steel manifold to suit SR20DET (very light) 1 x Trust Type C wastegate with 1.4 bar (21psi) spring and screamer pipe 1 x Front 90 degree Greddy intercooler pipe bend 1 x V-Band dump pipe (needs minor repair around EGT sensor bolt) With Forged pistons, Poncams and the obvious external mods such as ECU, Injectors, cooler this setup made 315kW at the wheels on 21psi, > Sleeved block suggested for 360kW on 26psi and 387kW at 29psi on a race tune (good for low 10's at almost 140mph with a good launch) Full boost at 6000rpm on pump fuel, 5700rpm on the race tune. Cam setup and better compression will see it come on boost before this and the ability to make way more power than I did. Facts: * Despite the lag it does not fall off boost between gears * I've had this around the circuit and it's perfect once you learn how to drive it by taking everything a gear back * It will make your friends wonder if there's something wrong with their cars when it comes on and you sailed past them like they hit the brakes * T88-34D is used by Australia's most powerful SR20's Benny Kashima's pink 180SX and the JUN S15 from WA From the ex Hpi project car PJ321. Replacement value over $8,000 see below http://www.takakaira.co.jp/Main.aspx http://www.tintmastermackay.com.au/turboch..._pricelist.html Hear it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmiRWQMLwF8...feature=channel PM or call 0438 1600 81 if you're keen PJ
  15. As many of you may be aware the Haltech R35 GTR Skyline had a catastrophic blow up on Friday the 24th if October. Our GTR has been running on a new platform of Haltech engine management flawlessly for over 5000km's now. The car was being track tested at Eastern Creek raceway (http://www.eastern-creek-raceway.com/) when the engine let go. The car had completed countless flat out laps with the engine producing 400kw at the wheels, up from 300kw at the wheels - The driver tells me it was a terrific ride! After finishing Haltech's latest Flat shifting calibrations a few more test laps had to be carried out. With no sign of trouble the car went out and successfully completed 2 more laps before finishing up on the side of the track leaving a trail of oil and plume of smoke behind it. It was time to put it in the trailer and go back to the workshop to pull it down. After building up enough courage our in-house mechanic removed the VR38DETT from the car and set it up on the engine stand. A few hours later the engine was fully stripped and the damage to the engine was clear - It appears Haltech have found the limits of Nissans new super car! The engine had met its maker. Piston #1 and #3 had separated from their lower halves right through the center of the gudgeon pin. As the Conrod's had no piston's to guide them up and down the bore they started smashing the bore, block, oil pump, sump and anything else that got in their way. Due to the massive damage to the block we will need to replace it. And figure it's a great time to make the engine a little stronger. We will be boring the motor out and installing Darton sleeves, replacing the factory cast pistons with a study Forged unit as well as installing a set of Billet conrods. This should allow the engine to reliably produce over 400Kw at the wheels and handle the pressure. Keep an eye on the Haltech website or drop us an email anytime for further updates.
