  1. Thanks guys Sure I can give you basics It's an SR20VE+T now, big custom cams, sleeved / forged bottom end, modded Precision turbo on 6boost manifold, ported head, oversized valves etc, Bosch 2000cc injectors, custom plenum, Plazmaman throttle body.
  2. Hey guys, I'm chasing the brown plastic pintle caps near the bottom of the injector, can anyone tell me where to get them? With age they crack and fall apart and Nissan don't sell them seperately. I'll post up some pics if you're not sure....The Ford BA/BF injectors have them that look similar but they are a different shape. PLEASE HELP!!
  3. Tried to post this up last month a page or two ago but it didn't display it... Here it is, still a 2L and no gas. Go Rozelle united
  4. Gotta love United E85
  5. Located in Sydney but doesn't matter where you are, if you have one of these in working order to part with let me know PJ Ph: 0438 1600 81
  6. Haha now, now Mo, it was the R34's first time out! And it wasn't anywhere near that power when it went 144mph It will go fast! Will be definitely be good to see you guys go heads up though!
  7. Exactly, who needs low boost? Good for high power cars that struggle with traction on street surfaces in the lower gears. Dave?
  8. Selling this one out of my S13, it has NEVER ever missed a beat. They might be simple but absolutely perfect up to the limit of 39psi, sharp boost control and the option to run the remote switching system (not included) so you can switch from high to low in a button which you get to see lots of on Motive 11 $250 PJ Ph: 0430 767 845
  9. I couldn't believe how well it went on 14psi, it was strong!! Definitely the most responsive T88-34D setup I've ever driven, I could imagine that extra power would be nuts. Time to drop a pair of 044's in that surge tank Deano That engine is mega efficient We'll be cruising soon!
  10. That's incorrect. The Powertune R34 does not run stock cams.
  11. Definitely the most fun day I've had in my car! I wouldn't change a thing Andrew And although I'm a non GT-R driver, it was fun watching and hearing them launch all day
  12. Hey dude! Yeah I remember the smile on his face, like a little kid (for all the other reader's TK was our team leader probably 55+ 5 years ago when I bought the car) and it had the T88-34D on it. Tell him I said hi anyway, tried to call today.
  13. So far we're up to 580kW at all four @ 32psi. Today we'll turning the boost up
  14. Will post some more up on it! Having trouble logging in on the Powertune username. Yes Nate, that's the one, it is on the dyno now as we speak for the final tune. Mods include: 2.8L BC Stroker Kit Prototype BC Cams Precision 7175 Billet turbo Powertune twin scroll manifold Twin tial MVS 38mm wastegates Haltech Platinum Pro for R34 Bosch 2000cc injectors Bolted up the straight 4" pipe to replace the muffler and Oh my goodness this thing sounds INSANE!! Will keep you updated...
  15. I really liked that shift knob too..
  16. Mate, that was 20+ years ago. You E85 sceptics need to educate yourselves on it a bit more before you pass judgement. Of course we wouldn't push something that hard in a circuit car, it's our demo car that refused to die, so we decided to find out its breaking point. If you guys are willing to learn from it then sobeit, if you couldn't care less than I'll keep it Precision and that's it. As pre intercooler temps Scott, as with any turbo, they will only be too hot if the turbo has exceeded it's efficiency band, it is NOT dependent on boost level, Zebra. Hope that clears it up for a few of you! Anyway, I'm over it, if you want info on making your Precision turbo choice, PM or give me a buzz, there's a reason why I only have limited post in all the years I've been on here, because it's like butting your head up against a wall sometimes! Good luck guys, PJ
  17. SO WHAT!!! They were untouchable at the time!
  18. You're talking to the wrong person in regards to knowing how many people I know running high boost dude! By comparing Justin's results, not only are you comparing a turbo with a higher horsepower rating (as you mentioned), he also is running the journal bearing variant (compared to the 3076R which is ball bearing) It's not apples with apples at all. And GT35's on circuit cars? Did you go to Super Lap at all? I lost count of how many 3037S's / 3076R's I saw that day on the fastest cars in the country. The biggest turbo's I saw were the Borg Warner on the Sierra Sierra EVO and HKS T04Z on the GT Garage FD.
  19. Yes you're right in away, because let's be honest, how many 'club level' circuit cars sport a 570hp turbo? Aside from referring to a compressor map, the first two questions involving turbo selection is horsepower and boost pressure. Personally I think a 5557SP ball bearing would work real good on a 2.5, we'd be a lot more keen to try one on an RB25 for popularity reasons. The offer still stands for someone who wishes to man up a buy one from us. Otherwise, you guys will be the first to know when they release something smaller, by the looks of this thread we'll sell lots to the 98 Pride Brigade.
  20. The power I already know the answer to, moreso the response. We've tuned about 8 FP turbo's so far and they are an awesome bit of gear, haven't tried the 3586 or 3794 yet, definitely keen to though!
  21. I'll be more than happy to prove you wrong on the next 6262 we get, since we already have plenty of data with GT35's.
  22. We found it was able to hold 33psi flat. If you want to compare apples with apples, we held 45psi with a 6262 (same size as GT35) Good luck doing that with a 35.
  23. Ya, I read hubs too, just confirming though
  24. Only one way to find out! I'm assuming it was on a 6 cylinder? And was it hubs or tyres?
  25. On our last edition of mythbusters, we ruled out the .63 restriction It's christmas and all Justin, but I need to go faster too ho ho ho. Powercruise will be here before we know it, and I need a bigger turbo
