  1. I dont know much about photography, but when a friend used a wide angle lens to take some photos of my car, they looked awesome plus we used a wall covered in grafiti as a background, came up well
  2. Hmm.. A million dollar hooker, or a million one dollar hooker's?
  3. I had similar problems a while back, it turned out to be the idle control valve thing under the throttle body (I cant remember the name correctly) but I pulled that out and replaced it and bam! all my problems went away and fuel economy returned. This was of course after I checked just about everything else... - I think thats what 1400r and JVP-R32 are talking about.
  4. - I once met a couple who moved down from sydney not really knowing what to expect, I was chatting to him while she read the paper, she let out a rather loud "S**T!... the average temperature in summer is 16 degrees!" poor lady was nearly in tears. Nice place tho, you will like the twisty roads - one of my favourites is 10 minutes from where I live
  5. Sydney eh? well you probably should stock up on a few warm jackets, summer finished last week. Welcome to hobart!
  6. Thanks guys, I havnt been able to sign up to any forums at the moment, I tried wrx.com and ozliberty but no luck, there is some wierd voodo thing happening, ah well. Anyhow it looks like I wont be needing such a reliable car anymore for work - just got a new job, I might get rid of it and buy another old alfa romeo Im half english - I crave disapointment
  7. Oh, its the shiz'! Im going to bid on it right after I ask him advice on finance
  8. There are couple of bolts holding the light on at the back, accessable behind the battery and behind the airbox/charcoal canister and another 2 bolts at the side behind the blinker, you shouldnt need to remove the front bar tho
  9. Hey sports fans, Just wondering if anyone might know if I can throw some wrx springs into a liberty (98 Vintage) to stop it handling like a tapioca pudding (I will drop in some new shocks and nolothane bits too) I just cant be bothered spending too much on it, thanks Oh, and if you do feel insecure about the size of your todger, go ahead and flame me about the subaru question, Its just you cant find any decent info on any other forum.
  10. Just be sure to back up your desktop, my documents, and favourites, and any other stuff you may want before you wipe the disk. You should only need to do a quick ntfs format, win xp is a pretty straight forward install, the only pain is reinstalling all the software and mabey a few drivers, then copy and paste your data from the backup, good luck
  11. Damn, pass on my comiserations. When mine got stolen it was one of the worst days of my life, good luck to your friend.
  12. Where abouts are you Mick? Edit: Ah, read the title you idiot Dave...
  13. Hey Jasper, If you are going to that extent with the looks you should try something completely nuts and put a s15 silvia front on it Thanks gmb', I was a grumpy little sh*t on staurday but hopefully I might be able to put this new idea on wheels
  14. Hey Jasper, I pretty much just gave the guy everything that wasnt bolted down, I figured I probably didnt need it anymore. How did you go, did you find yourself a skyline?
  15. Thanks guys, next I think I will settle down a bit - buy a house, get married and spend every weekend mowing the lawn and being miserable But to keep myself entertained I have enrolled for the engine building course at adult ed' and might start building an rb30det and later on buy another r32 to put it in (with a mad alarm! ) -Good luck with yours Todd
  16. My shed looks so big and empty now, my skyline, she is gone. Sold the car on friday to a nice kid from the other end of the state. Damn it was sad to see her go, I hope she treats him well. Ah well, on to the next project... an RB30DET! Hmm, happy days.
  17. Can we apply to have him removed from the geene pool while they are at it?
  18. definatly east coast, stop in at frecinet for a couple of days - the camping facilities are good and the walks are fantastic. then maria island, fortisque, re stock in hobart then back up to cradle mountain.
  19. Next thing you know they will be saying we shouldnt 'physically educate' our children...
  20. Like Al said, balance. Get the same tyres front to rear, get an allignment and it should be a lot better. But unfortunatly the rb is much heavier than the sr and has upset the balance of the car, what you dont want to do now is go soft at the front and hard at the rear, this will make it break away easier, but more difficult to control.
  21. All a paint job like this says is "Not only am I rich enough to afford a new Veyron, I am so rich I don't need to take it seriously" Damn rich people.
  22. That looks similar to the kits they used to do for the nissan 280z to make them ugly in a different way
  23. More photos added
  24. Updated Photos: I forgot to mention I chipped the computer, no more 180kph speed cut or fuel cut
  25. Hey guys, Well its come time, the electricity company have decided to stop sending me letters in fancy colours and are now coming in plain white... so it about time to let go and try shift my baby. She drives very nicely, the engine is in great nic', the interior is very clean, but the paint needs a little work, and the face on the cd player was stolen - and I just cant afford to keep it any longer. So check out my for sale thread, im happy to answer any questions, or if anyone knows a good gigolo agency so I can make a quick buck - give me a buzz on 0400 996 522 Dave's GTS4
