for interest sake i have the same turbo but have used the original r33 rb25 intake housing because of the larger housing. which im guessing will once again make it spool up later. should give a slight increase in power output i would think.

does anyone know of any aftermarket high flow water pumps. ive looked arround and never seen any.

well i havent done a huge ammount of looking to it, but i was just guessing that the top gear of the getrag box would be a higher ratio over drive. but all the same its all planning and thinking atm.

ahhhhh so they moved to bunbury. i remember about a year ago i read in the paper that this track was going to be built either in the internation airport land or down below byford. both were knocked back due to ***ed stupid housing residents. the track is being funded totally by the investors. from what i understand not one bit of government help. all there money is going towards alana's train set.

anyone know if its possible? or of anyone whom has done it before. naturally there might be the need of making a rear crossmember and tail shaft. its more the bell housing and rear engine plate im thinking off. im guessing the rear plate off a r34 gtr with the 6 speed should be what i might need. any help would be nice thanks Matthew Bailey

i was told that they are the same gearbox. but that could also be utter shit. please let me know how you go. also whats wrong with your old gears and sync's ? i might want to try something a little crazy so if they are just worn then i might buy them off you. depending on price naturally

a common fix to that problem if you want to be singy is the pull the clutch apart. drain the oil out and clean with degressor then when you put it back together fill solid with silastic. this will just mean your fan will run all the time insted of just when its hot.

what i would suggest is you get a fuel cube put in the back. set up a seperate fuel guage and pump in that tank. to connect the hosing what you do is simple. the line out of this other tank connects to the return pipe on the original fuel system, then the breather line goes and connects to the breather line of the orginal fuel system. both using t peices. then all you have to do to refuel when your running low is hit a switch and then watch the guage. this would be alot faster than using jerry cans. but its also more work. if your aiming for fastest times there then its definately the way to go. but if your just going to cruise then get a map, work out the distance between towns on the route your going to take and then decide if you will need jerry cans. if there was going to be a SAU cannonball run i would so be in that. you could even do it like the mischeive 3000 in the states. where its all for charity. so everyone whom enters puts in say 200 dollars or so then whom ever wins decides where it goes.

they dont fit. from what i understand the frounts are the same but the rear have a difference system of linking to the bottom of the strut.

the alarm that tells you to move away from the car from what i was told was sold at kmart.

so i would have to connect the 5v, the earth then run a new wire the to s-afc for the signal out and then leave the signal ref blank. in theory. this should work. as long as both afms are the same type. ? set the afc to 2 inputs and ave for the single output.

nice thread. im planning on building my sub box soon. i want to leave my boot free for future items. so as i dont want rear seats im going to build the box to fit in there. will end up a bit heavy but having two 12's in the back sounds amazing. ill post pics of it once i finish. the problem i have atm is where to place the amps.

in the sensor calibration if you have one in, its one out or 1/2 out. which is the option i would need to use. there are other options if you have two in etc etc. does anyone know what exactly the other wires on the afm does.

can do both. depends what you set it to. from memory. ill go read thought the manual again to check.

Yeh i know the common thing to do as simply get a z32 afm it would work fine yeh, but the advantages ive thought about is the added pod so less air rescrition. on the apexi s-afcII you can have it calc having two inputs but only sending one signal out. so that shouldnt be a problem either. the bit im not sure about is how would i go about wiring a second afm into my car. if i had a plug and joined the matching wires would this work? i myself cant think of any reason why this wouldnt but im hoping someone else might be able to share some light on the matter. thanks.

i drove my skyline from perth to port hedland and back. on the way back one section i held 220 km/h for 300 km, most other sections the stops were too far apart to be able to do that with out running out of fuel. if you honestly want to do that run i would suggest one waiting till after the wet season (less chance of animals on road) and two getting a 100 litre tank in the boot so you dont have a fuel problem. also maybe have bottles of oct booster for the trip. if anyone from perth is going to do this, i have no problem being part of this. i would recommend doing it in a few jumps. perth to port hedland first day. 1800 km or there abouts. could do in 10-12 hours. then goto broome or derby. then etc etc.

i wouldnt mind changing all the rear and side panels to the gtr type, simply so i can get the wider tyres in there. but like hell i would ever put the gtr badges on it.

when you put the bolt in simply fill the whole slot with ultra blue or what ever you decide your using and this should fix the problem.
