Cheers Chris, I'll try to give you a call tomorrow. I just checked to see if the amp is cutting out, and its not, its just the sub, power seems constant to the amp so it must be something else.

Hey guys, Just had a quick question - I've got a little issue with my sub in my car at the moment - when I go to turn the volume past about 15 on my HU the sub works on and off but cuts out. I've got it attached to an 800W Pioneer Monoblock Amp and the Sub is a Clarion Pro dual voice coil. I'm not sure what I can check out on it to be honest, the power cabling for the amp is very good and I never had this problem with my old sony sub (untill I blew it up though....) any ideas ? if I can't figure it out I may take it over to Chris at audio express to have a look for me.

Just out of curiosity, what other mods are you running in your car Col? It seems pretty similar to what I have in mine, yet I wasn't getting up to those sorts of speeds on the Sportsman circuit (I didn't run national). I'm also running a little bit less boost than you but was posting better sprint times as well - just curious thats all.

Had a few people contact me about these - still have them. Wheels are in good condition - not excellent, one has a scratch on it, the center caps are faded a little, but they come with all the original nuts etc. Currently have 205 tyres on them with tread!

Hey guys, I'm putting my 1993 R33 GTS-T up for sale. Details R33 GTS-T 1993 Automatic Stock condition (with Exhaust and turbo timer) 18" Wheels with 90%+ Tread (6 months old) Great stereo system Great alarm system (remote boot release/central locking etc) 125,000~ km's on it. Car is in great condition, very clean and straight - looking to sell it due to the fact I can now salary package a car. Always looked after, garaged, no engine type mods have been done to it, great all round car. Has some minor damage to the front bar due to a rock on the road, however no other damage to the car at all. Anybody know of any stores in Brisbane (pref open saturday so I can go check them out) who have decent pricing and will be able to tell me if X rims will fit my car? Any suggestions would be awesome! Hmm interesting, a lot of divided opinions - but from the sounds of it, even if I got a capacitor, it would only be a stop-gap measure. I replaced the battery in Feb and I had an auto electrican re-do the terminals and wiring for it in the boot. Would there be any benefit from replacing the wiring between the battery and amp/sub ? At the moment it doesn't look that fantastic, but its not that bad either. As for a better earth from the battery to the car, I'll check this out and see if I can make it any better - From what I remember I think it was pretty decent (I think the auto electrican did that at the same time)

Hey Guys, Just a quick question - at the moment when I turn my stereo up a bit higher than ambient, I've noticed that my dash and my headlights dim slightly when the bass kicks in. The setup I have currently is just a Panasonic head unit, and a Pioneer 700W Amp powering a Sony sub, the other speakers in my car are run off the head unit. I'm wondering if a capacitor will solve my problem of my headlights dimming or if it is something else I need to check out? I replaced the battery in my car in Feb as well if that is of any consequence. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I nearly had a heart attack when I saw a Blue R33 with a black bonnett at Indooroopilly shopping center tonight - the numberplate was incredibly similar too - The front end looked like it was a bit dodgy though, and the numberplate didnt match (this one was 769 INV) Sorry dude!

Yeah, the car came with an aftermarket bar, I had a smash in January and replaced it with this - - I'm having trouble finding indicators which would fit my front bar at current too - any ideas on that?

Hey guys, I recently bought a 'new' set of headlights on ebay for my R33 - I noticed when I pulled out my existing set though that they had just had a hole drilled (a huge one which let water in) for my front indicator (they just shoved the bulb through and had it almost directly wired to the bulb - I have no idea what standard practice is in regard to these, but the set I've bought now has no front indicators. The 'new' ones are these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=4616792165 I got - what my question is, I'm wondering if anybody knows of a mechanic or an auto electrican who can convert these for me and add in an indicator on each side so I can remove my existing ones and replace them with these - or something that I can do myself. At the moment when I connect these up all I get are high beams and low beams and thats pretty much it. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a place I can take my R33 GTS-T to who will do a decent job on it (I'm suspecting it just needs a good fluid flush and a bit of a tune at the moment, its idling a bit rough) but I'm unsure of really who to take it to. I work at St Lucia and live in the western suburbs but I'm willing to take it wherever as long as the job is a decent one. Anybody got any ideas or suggestions? Cheers

Its a smallish country town mate - not sure where you're coming from but don't expect much, it will have a Coles and a Woolies and that will be about it for major shops (some other chains may be there) but yeah its a pretty tiny place in the Darling Downs, about 2 and a half hours from Brisbane I'd estimate. I personally used to live in Warwick (about 30 minutes away from Dalby) same sort of deal, but yeah, dont expect much!

Hey everybody, I'm new here, signed up a week ago - I've bought myself a GTS-T R33 Skyline and I've been loving every minute behind the wheel, but in the last couple of days I've had some strange stuff happen and I'm wondering if anybody has any reccomendations. Last night I went out to go pick up a friend and get some food - I went out front and found my car had a flat battery, I got a jump off another friend and everything was great, drove the 20-30 mins over to the mates house and I stupidly figured that would be enough time to get a bit of a charge in the battery. Went inside for 10-20 mins, came back out and the car was flat again, completely flat, no indicators/hazzards, zero. I got another jumpstart off another friend and I was going to drive the car home, when I noticed a couple of issues. The car took unusually long to get a jump (3-4 tries, dunno if thats normal) but my indicators were stuck on (couldn't use them at all) all my electrics had reset, stereo, clock etc. I got the car back home but then the car would not stop, I literally turned the car off as normal and removed the keys from the ignition but the car kept running - a sort of small buzzing sound was coming from the dash - the only way I could stop the car was in a fairly dodgy way (basically had to stall it, its an automatic too) I haven't started it since but I figure so far I need a new battery and possibly something else - anybody got any ideas or a place I can take it to, to get it checked out? I love this car but I really don't want strange stuff like this happening so soon after I've got it. Thanks in advance Phil
