well said someonestolecc road was closed, and it wasnt a public road.. road was owned by boss's partner, used to be old dirt road, has been reconstructed by urs truly over the past 6mths

b4 i start - those 0 - 60ft times were written by my smartass brother who happened to come across some1 comments. up until today i hadnt tested those times yet. NOW.. GTR owners i have something to say - OUR CARS FKN ROCK!!!! ok here we go.. his wasnt an c55 it was an e55, which scared me when we got to where we were racing. we ended up racing over about 800 or so meters on a road in tullamarine industrial estate. the was we did it was: There was 3 camera men, one guy dropping the flag, and 4 people to watch which car came in first. the rules were the win had to be clear. (min 1/2 car length infront) we lined up, the flag dropped, and i took off so cleanly with the tinyest bit of wheel spin.. i had the engine revving between 4500 - 5500rpm for the take off. and by the time we took off i had a full car length lead. hit about 70km/h or so (wasnt really concentrating on that, could be more could be less - adrenaline was rushing!!!) and changed just as i hit redline, each gear was changed prior to redline, but after about 400m i had about 2 full car lengths on the merc, and was driving about 165 - 175km/h. the merc began to ccatch me on the last 100, but by then he had no chance.. i ccrossed the finish about 1 and 1/2 carlenths in front and earnt my dinner and a $2000 cash bonus there you go guys.. a $200,000 merc VS a $42,000 GTR V-spec although it may be luxury, it still cant even stand next to a piece of "Japanese crap" The boss was so amazed to see wat my car c9ould do he threw in that bonus, and took my car for a test to see how these turbo things really work. he owns a 1965 bently, crewman cross8, merc e55, and merc sl55... To conclude, all i can say is that i think my nerves all fell into place, and my driving on the day was perfect and couldn be better, one gear f*k up and i was dead. Thats for all ur replies and critisism

the name GTR should become a saint. so people can name their kids GTR or Godzilla haha.. I was going to buy a r34 gtr, but got a r33 instead coz a nice property came up so some of the money went to that and the left over to the 33gtr. was a tuff choice! was it had to be dun! are any of u guys with GTR's from melb?

how good does it feel to get a new GTR? i got mine last week.. almost better than an orgasm.. maybe it is, but i cant admit that, my gf will kill me ahaha!! r u in melb? love to catch up n c the car!

out of three launches tested - i got 1.54, 1.56, and 1.51.. so ur 1.6 launch is rubbish, and NO1 drives my car

ok ladies n gents, i am ready to fly.. I need tips n suggestions.. i want nothing under 300kw at the wheels for the start. this should hold me for at least 6mths b4 we tear the whole engine apart and add more. i wanna start with that bullshit plastic front bar. it keeps scraping and is on the verge of falling off. what can i replace that with? secondly, the car is goin into the work shop on tuesday to get ne air intake + filters and boost controller ( coz remember my baby was stock as a rock when i bought it with only 40,000km) the exhaust is on, the turbo timer is on, thats the basics down, the boost controller and filters will b dun by wednesday. can we have an estimate of the hp/kw with those basics coz i cbf dyno-ing just yet..

My boss from work has challenged my "JAPANESE CRAP" to a race. Loser pays for dinner for 8people at a restraunt of our choice (so it will probly end up being a $2000 - $3000 race) Just want to know wot are my chances? I have an R33 GTR with slight mods - - Blitz full exhaust system - Blitz boost controller - Blitz Air intake a filter system For now thats all ive put on.. havent had a dyno so i dont know the exact horsepower. could ne1 give me an idea of my horsepower, ill b running about 15 or 16 pound. Wot are my chances?

hey guys, Im just saying hello and would like to introduce myself. My name is ivan and i have just recently purchased the car i have been dreaming about since high school! My 1996 skyline r33 GTR V-spec. although only a few days old now, i think the car is absolutly fantastic and i think alot of people who think they r just jap crap dont no wot the r missing out on! Ne way, ive wanted to join a car club, but i wanted it have people who would understand my car as well and help me with it. although i dont understand so well the technical side of cars, im slowly learning and begining to understand. Hope we can one day all meet and exchange ideas/experiances. reguards, Ivan
