  1. Im not sure of the GTR gaurd clearance, but from memory i reckon 10s fit on pretty easily on the back, dunno about the front though. only way will be to either measure the clearance you have or come and test fit them if you are really keen on them. They have pretty stretched tyres on there atm so the tyre should be able to tuck underneath the gaurds if its close with only the lip a bit on the edge.
  2. Due to a ever demanding budget on my car and the fact that these would just be spare wheels in the backyard, im going to put these up for sale. They are genuinue Work Equip wheels. Info on the wheels below. 18" Work Equips: FRONT: 10" wide, +10 offset, 235/40/18 tyres with good tread left on them. Has around 4" front dish. REAR: 11" wide, +10 offset, 255/35/18 tyres. 1 tyre is ok, other has some camber wear on the inner left but not too bad. Has alittle more dish then the front around 4.5-5". There is some curb rash as shown below in the pics, but nothing too bad.
  3. thanks its defenitly a unique car, im sad to see it go when it does.
  4. Ok here are some new pics of my celsior after the respray which was matched to a japanese paint colour - bright atlantic blue pearl. short story is - its immaculate and from the pics i dont even want to give it away now...but i have to as i need the money. Pics tell the story itself - in another 2weeks or so, the car is going to be glazed over so the shine will be 10times what it is now - which it already is perfect! the price of the car is as stated in the first post with these wheels. - the wheels on the last pic - 19inch AME deeeeep dishes, i dont really want to sell, but if thats what it takes then they can go with it too...but at a inflated price - otherwise they arent very hard to find! the rear wheels have no spacers on them in the pics (they will come with the car) and are 8.5" width - so you can see how much the rears can take.
  5. *******NEW PICS AFTER RESPRAY SEE BELOW********** Hi Guys, I am begrudling selling my celsior that i have spent alot of money but mostly my time fixing up. Its one of those cases where i have to rather then i want to at all. I imported this myself early last year and have been fixing it up to the point that it is currently undergoing a total respray (in the same blue/purple pearl in the pics). I intended to do this so i could keep it, but half way inbetween getting the body totally blocked back (everypart of it) and getting money to do the respray i now need to sell it. If you have ever driven a celsior before, this one is ultimate. it drives and rides so smooth everytime i get in, i just dont want to sell it. Its the highest C-F pack celsior with cream leather interior, totally modified front exterior to make it updated to the second gen lexus ls400's with big custom pumped arches along with a evolution wide bodykit. This car is obviously going to be immaculate once the paint has dried. It really is one of a kind with all the VIP mods i have done to it. Pics below and all information can be seen here: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/&a...rch_distance=25 any questions let me know. price is around $17,999.
  6. Its registered, complied, on the road, everything perfect, everything done, new paint, through REGENCY, immaculate car, low price only so it can sell....otherwise id be selling it like everyone else and trying to make something from all my hassles. pics speak for themselves: 1990, jet black, 98,000kms, C-F (rear massagers etc), velour interior, many VIP addons, dual straight through exhuasts (containing cats), 18' works, dual hieght controllers, airbags working perfectly, $1500 MD player, looking for $13990 but i may go down a little and take out the kenwood, sorry but no swaps need the money, Adelaide.
  7. depends if you have aftermarket air suspension or not...and depends what type of controller you have. also depends where the manual hieght of each strut is normally as to how extreme low it will go.
  8. if you have a celsior and you want it pimp....you have to get a huge bodykit with some deep dishes dont get 19/20s from australia if they arent deep dishes, i think they look crap on em. the bodykit is no problem! thats why you have air suspension! a controller is EASY to get if you dont have one and theres plenty around. but depends what you want and what look you are after. i drive my blue 1 as a daily since i moved house and only hav 1 carport. they are perfect as a daily driver....does chew up some petrol but hey thats the price you pay for having a car like this. it really is ultimate luxury if you find a good one. even better with some mods. i just got the black one ADR complied....it was going for $9999 uncomplied, but will end up around the 12K after i get it passed through regency. its on carsales if you want more pics.
  9. to answer your questions: they are only bad on fuel if you drive it like an idiot. they are 4.0L V8 so they arent too bad....very easy to speed in though. not the quickest of the line compared to a 5L V8 holden, but get going once they are rolling. they are alittle tough on petrol if youve had them a bit modified. but what do you expect its a V8. engine wise they arent too tough to work on, but you have to take alot off to get to the spark plugs and a shitload off to get to the timing belt and once there you might as well replace the water pump. havent had any problems with the air on both on them, but theres plenty to look out for. mostly the valves on each strut will be old and worn. most of them are lobsided as well (left sticks down more then the right side other vice versa), but this can be changed manually and on a controller if you have the function - most newer ones do.....the ride depends on ball joints (which are mainly f***ked) and how low the car is as the dampners are chaned automatically on a lower ride.
  10. Heres mine. black one is for sale atm - put it up in FS section, but for some reason i think someone deleted it. There are many things to look out for on celsiors. air suspension is not really a problem...its more the shockers and ball joints. BTW - CF is more luxury but if you have a C model, you can easily add rear massagers - they are a seperate unit that is added in the back of the rear seat and you can get em from japan easily.
