Now, i know that you all must think that i'm a littrle crazy, but i have had a idea... and no! it does not hurt :headspin: I have noticed a lot of different sound BOV's around perth and i'm kinda getting used to mine after 2 years with it. the sound that is. I have a Turbosmart type II and i think it sounds great... has the low preasure flutter and all, but i wouldn't mind hearing what a different one would sound like on my car. SO! here is my proposal. Allowing for the whole possible adaptor issue, what do you guys think about a sceme where we all get to swap BOV's in some way to have a numerous magnatude of sounds. Flame me if you must, it may be a bad idea or even a logistical nightmare OR even a tuning nightmare, but its just a idea, so let me know what you guys think. peace and God bless, Nate

cant be done, it has a thread on the top of the shaft. problem 2 is that the shaft is rubber filled to prevent vibration, you will stuff that too if you hack it too peices, best to just get a shortshifter which will give you about 20% high reduction Nate

dark, just paint over it to start with and then sand back the letters.

vibration + RAM = o oh spaghettios (not good) i have seen this before the gentle road vibration will kill the ram, so be verry cautious

cheers cam, i know what you are talking about well i got a left hand unit from just jap and swaped the cogs and brackets over. works fine now so anyone who needs help with a change over... call me.. i know everything there is to skyline windows now.

hey all, im having a tad bit of a problem at the moment... my window of my drivers door, r33 gtst has decided to lock and not move... wouldnt normally be a urgent problem except that the window is locked out in the down posistion... the motor is stuffed so i have no way of getting it back up! i have tried all things and i have power going to the clip just before the window motor... so i know its fine up to there. i have also put direct 12v onto the motor and still no luck. does anyone know where i can get one or does anyone here have a drivers side window motor that could work for my car. Just paranoid that my car is being left with the window down at the mo. Thanks in advance guys, God Bless, Nate

Dads car was a write-off apparently, so he gets a new car, nice, but not the best way to get one i guess we got the keys back to the house so mum is slightly eased by that, and they found my wallet all intact except for credit cards (all canceled) and my drivers license. Now i feel like a part of my soul has been taken from me, i mean they have my drivers license with my picture and all my details... i dont like it! Well, im not real happy at the moment! This morning i get woken up at 2:30am from a loud smashing sound... Some one had decided to break a bloody big hole in our rear door of the house and grab my wallet and my dads car keys. By the time i made it to the door they had gone... all within 20 seconds or so. My dad and i were so distracted by the door that we never checked till about 3 minutes late to see what had gone missing. and sure enough along with my wallet was dads car. Never heard or saw the car take off. It's a new VY Berlina green/olive in colour License 1BLT *** (dont remember the other digits) Now i wouldn't really get shuch a HUGE fuss about it all (the car is covered by insurance, and a wallet is replaceable), BUT, my mother has just gone off her first cycle of Chemo therapy for her cancer. She is bed ridden at the moment, and this has totally freaked her out. It was the last thing that she needed to come with at the moment. and it showed because i had to stand there and watch my mother cry! She's upset (as you would be) because someone had invaded her personal space and now has access to the house while she is at home and my dad and i are at work. I was roaming the streets till about 4:30 looking for the car, but with no avail. The police found the car at 5:40am in kwinana saying that it was smashed into a pole and abandoned. didn't say if there were the keys or my wallet there. Any way, sorry about the length, i just thought that since it was thursday (crazy car) night, someone may have seen the car around. We live in Winthrop, so they may have gone down to Macas Leach Hwy, or to a illegal get-up somewhere. If anyone know of the people or could help me in finding the people i would be interested to meet them. There would be a reward in place. Although i do want to hurt them, i try to live up to my mothers strong christan up-bringing, and all i ask is that they appoligise to my mother for her undue stress. If not then i will kill them.
