hey guys, my car's selling out. The owner negotiated to have the car without any speakers but i thought i put in some cheapies to fill the hole. Anyway, I have some questions: REAR : ===== Currently running on 6.5inch 2 way splits. I found some 6 inch speakers. They don't come with that "split" box.. Question : I am running an amp for these speakers and I will leave him the amp. 1) can the amp still drive these speakers if they were not splits? I'm looking at the SOny 6 inch 2 way speakers at http://www.strathfield.com.au/images/Catal...0122/JPG/p5.JPG - as in , will it still have sound?? 2) do I have to disconnect the battery when i replace the speakers? I don't think so but just checking... thanks,guys!!

hi guys I want to find out how much life is on my OEM brake pads. I'm wanting to put them back on the car cause the aftermarket ones which I bought are not compatible Called up Nissan spareparts but they don't have the info. What's the height of the stock OEM pads when new?? Also, where's a good place to buy brake pads? I went to the JDM IMPORTS website before and they ran out of Project MU so they sold me some other brand (which were dearer and said to be much better) which almost stuffed up my front rotors!

guys, i think this would be a good tutorial - how to replace front brake pads? Can someone please write something and throw some picts in too? It would help a lot. Local garage wants to charge me $40 for that.... Thanks Rob

i got an r33 series. I run mine no WINMAX SPORTS-totally no complains (except brake dust but hey, u can't drive a dream and not pay the price). Very quite performance on and off street, great for mountain driving too.

hello deren, thank you:) I got the bushes replaced last year so i figure I will have to take the car in to a brake specialist. guys, how much do you think it will cost for machining the brakes and how long would it take? thank you all!

helllo tap on brakes : meaning I just half step the brakes and not fully. Either way i still feel the shuttering. The shuttering happens very obviously when the car is above 100km/h (sorta like 140km/h and i try to slow down to 110km/h). what do you suspect?

that sounds pretty like it cause i had never had the discs (on the brakes) machined... but weird-how come it happens above 100km/h? So it's not a case of the wheel balancing gone ugly?? if it's the rotors that need machining, can anyone tell me if i need a balancing and alignment done again since the brake rotors are removed for machining (and then replaced in)? thanks!

hey guys i need some help. Basically of the past week i noticed that when i drive above 100km/h, and tap on the brakes to slow down a little, i find that there is some jerking/shuttering. This happened a long time ago but after my major service , it gone away. What could it be???

hmmmm... how do you run the wire from the boot to the engine bay? i know how to bring it from the boot to the front seat(by taking the rear bak seat off but after that i'm as long as the guy is too.

guys need help here. I lost my keys and remote last night... So i took the spare keys and remote out and reprogrammed the immobiliser system so that the lost remote cannot control the car (even if somebody found it). Now, i found the fXXXing remote today . Currently, i am trying to get the immobiliser to recognise the lost remote again... In the manual, they say, "hold the emergency override button and after 10 secs, the siren will chirp 3 times". I did manage to get that effect this morning but now, i can't seem to do it and have been spending 1 and half hours in the god damned car !!!! Guys,it's a Code Alarm CA 130 and i m out of witts!!!! PlEASE HELP!!

guys i went to Dr Rubber in victoria st today. They guy recommended me Sumitomo for my R33 GTS-T for $180 per tyre (235/45/17). He says the perform very well.. any thoughts? i asked about Michelin Pilot Sport. He mentions that they are summer tyres. I had them in my car (front) for a year and have no problems ... Any one have any experience to share about Michelin PILOT SPORTS for all 4 seasons???

hey guys! need help. I tried to install the front lip back into my series 22 front lip (r33). 1. Do i have to remove the front bar to screw in the 2 middle screws of the front lip to the front bar?? 2. how do I remove the front bar( assuming i need to take it off)? I have searched the forums but can;t seem to find the post.. I am sure there's prolly a post for removing a s2 front bar (r33) but can;t find please help -if you guys have pics, that would rock! thanks!
