James can't see why you are worried about the speed limiter so much, really if you haven't found the limit of the car around the corners first then i wouldn't worry about the limiter. Anyway going around the bends fast is more enjoying than flat out speed in a straight line, more speed more braking distance needed to slow down. You will go fine and i doubt your times would be effected too much by the limiter anyway.

Hi people, man what a day! thanks to steve and Adam for the day and for the accomodation, pity we all stunk! I couldn't believe how sticky those semi's were, I was really throwing the car around the track and at the end of the day i was even trying to get a powerslide going out of some corners but they just stuck to the track like shit to a blanket! People i really can't express how good these are, the hotter they got the better they stuck. I knew i had the grip there but not as much as i did! Jon, i really do feel sorry for you, for both track days now half the day you've been fixing something! just glad you got it sorted and got out there, impressive times for road tyres! Same for Shaun, i think if you got semi's on you would've got down to 1.12 -1.13 easy! Ando for a car running 6psi that thing sure does get moving, i couldn't get by you on the straight but glad i could keep up through the corners. James i hope you liked your ride, sorry it wasn't as quick as i took Liz around but she brings the best out in me, with the quote "man hit the ripples, your driving like a pussy!" with that i thought thats it if i go off who cares just as long as i scare Liz, but i didn't dammit. Okay we get it, you got stock ecu, what i think they want to know which i would've thought you would of realised by now is what else has been done to your car to get that amount of power? I have stock ecu, turbo etc etc, my only mods so far is the exhaust where i have a dump pipe off the turbo and 3 inch hi flow exhaust. I have a pod filter but that does nothing to power figures, On the dyno day at UAS it made 175rwkws, and i will admit i was very surprised at that figure i was only expecting 150-160 at most. So c'mon mate spill your guts what else has been done to get the power you've got? Also just because a chick owned the car before doesn't mean she didn't get it "chipped or modded" just look at some of the women owners on this forum and their cars, moanie for one, Liz is another. there are a few out there showing up some of us "men" And just becuase it has speed limiter and "boost cut" doesn't mean it isn't chipped or modded. I'm sure you said this, "i'm not the only one making over 200kw with the stock ecu. haven't you read the dyno section? a piggy back doesn't get rid of boost cut, only full ecu or fuel cut defender. from post number 76.
