  1. I am aware that the R31 had a BR20DET, I just mentioned that it was in an R31. I AM asking about RB25DET coil packs. The guy that had it before fitted the RB25, he used the entire RB25 engine loom. That's why I am confused
  2. I know that Series 1 & Series 2 are internally different, but both still use the same coil pack plug. Why would I change the harness when there is nothing wrong with it? I just want to know why mine are different.
  3. Anyone know how many different coil packs are avaiable for Series 1 RB25DET engines. According to Nissan the coil pack part # in my RB in a R31 are out of a CA16-18. The harness is factory and untouched but it has different plugs to all the other RB's I have seen. It has Z32 style coil pack plugs. Confused.

  10. I think $300 is to expensive, I got mine through Parts Locater for $400 delivered for both front and rear calipers. R34 DBA 4000 Series slotted rotors where $170 ea.
  11. LCCT track days cost $85.00 if you pay before the event & $95.00 if you pay on the day, ($15.00 if you want to share a garage) so closer to $190.00 if you include license & club membership. Practice days have gone up, $60.00 if you are with a MST affiliated club & $110.00 if you are not.
  12. I'll be there! But not in the R31. Will bring the R34 out of retirement for this one. As for cost , $95.00 if you pay on the day, $50.00 if your not a member of a CAMS club & $40.00 for a day license if you don't have one. I think thats it at a guess.
  13. Not sure on the ECU, it's an R32 that's been tweaked by Tomie I think. Was going like a train!! He wasn't to bad, it was his first time on the track It's all stripped and cleaned, measure up tonight and order bits tomorrow.
  14. Air fuel ratio is only there for looks It's hooked up to the O2 sensor but this is not hooked to the ECU. The ECU is closed loop unfortunately.

  16. Someone has taken the mesh out of one end. Should be mesh in both ends of an AFM regardless of what series it is. Hope this makes sense.
  17. Thanks for the info, but there are a lot of train stations in Australia. I'm in Tas so I still have no idea where you are. Don't think that jasma is a brand it's just a jap standard the exhaust has to meet.

Yeah, I like it Nice cage by the way. funz - wogboys point is a harness forces you to sit up straight in the seat, in the event of a roll over a standard lap sash lets you duck towards the centre of the car to avoid the roof closing down... its certainly something to consider, or atleast be mindful of in a car that doesn't have even a half cage.   22. I talking any harness in general be it 4, 5 or 6. Quick release is of no advantage once your upside down with your head through your arse and I don't think your gonna let your harness go half way through roll. Like I said this ir my opinion.
  23. Are you installing a cage? IMHO it's a bad idea to have a 4 point harness without a cage. Watched a WRX end up on it's roof at Symmons and flatten the roof almost down to the belt line, if the driver had been in a 4 point harness it would have driven her head straight through her arse. Like I said, just my opinion.
  24. Sometimes it's just to hard to organize stuff like this, I just pick a date & do it. And if people I talk to along the why want to join in that's fine.
