I have done this mod to my R34. Brought new struts from E-bay for $50.00 (would never use s/h) that suited a late model Toyota Camary (had a look at one & the bonnet was about the same wieght as mine). It was a bit fidly but looks great and works a treat! Will post up some pic's.
Only time the paint might crack would be if the gaurds have been repainted. I brought myself a gaurd roller & rolled my own on my R34 & I've done a few others, never had the paint crack
Odd that they didn't fit an R33, they have a wider body. When I had my R33 I used 20mm bolt on spacers to push the wheels out to the edge of the guard, when I got my R34 the 20mm spacers where to much & I couldn't use them.
Great wheels by the way! Would look good on my silver R34. Just trying to talk my Finacial manager (wife) in to it!
There was never any W in the R33 model code. There where ECR33, BCNR33, HR33 & ER33 depending on wether they where turbo, four door, two door, two wheel drive or four wheel drive. Follow the link earlier in this post and you will see them.

i am moving to qld in 2 weeks and i am not going to have anywhere to park it there and some c*nt would probably steal it if it was parked in the middle of brisbane.
How do the rear camber bushes work? same as the front with an eccentric steel bush? Bit hard to tell in the pic. How many degrees of camber does the rear camber kit give you? R33 is the same as R34?
Thanks Wogboy.
