Thanks for the pic, it's a std rear bar. I'm after the rear bar that goes with the skirts you have. That's a nissan sports kit you have, nismo kit is different again. Thanks again anyway, good luck with the sale.

If he has an R33 he can't do that. An R33 has bulkhead plugs both in the pillar & in the door that you can't poke wires through. You won't be able to put wires through the sleeving without it looking dogdey. I have an R33, been there done that, it all depends how good you want it to look & how long you want it to last.

You won't get the speaker wire through the existing harness as it has a plug at both ends that plug into bulkhead plugs in the car & door. The easiest way (and neatest) I found to do it was to pull the guards off & drill 2 new holes with a 22mm hole saw in the cars a pillar & in the door, clean it up & paint it then use some grommets and sleeving, looks factory.

You need to be carefull about whats on Carsales & the Trading post. I've rung about cars advertised as 00 & 01 models & they have been 98 models when I actually asked. Series 2 R34's started in Aug 2000, they have the front bar as pictured above, 363Nm instead of 343Nm, two tone silver & black steering wheel & the centre console up to the triple gauges is silver & not that funny grey stuff that scratches easily. I have a Jan 2000 R34 GT-T and the only thing a 2000 model has in common with a Series 2 is that it uses the same engine cover. (no red writing)

Stock as a rock RB25DET is between 135-145rwkw. My R33 ran 190 rwkw on 95 fuel with exhaust, FMIC, 12psi & Power FC ac ouple of yrs ago. Had my R34 tuned late last yr with the same mods & fuel (NEOs are higher comp) & made 192rwkw. Both done on Pro Auto's dyno. So yeah, some thing not right with the dyno or the car.

Is that the car forsale in the pics? I don't think it's a 2001, has wrong front bar & eng cover. Car in pic is a 98-99 model. IMO Still a very nice R34.
