  2. There's no dyno in Burnie, there was a few years ago at AJL, but he has sold it.
  3. Just got back, had no trouble on the boat, but did have with Sydney driveways & Hotel carparks.
  4. Don't know! guess I'll find out tomorrow, it better be cause I ain't windin' it up at 8 am in the morning!
  5. If you go thru the Cradle Link road (via Sheffield) it's about 30-40mins quicker than going thru Burnie. Am on the boat tomorrow myself for a few weeks, heading from Melb up the Pacific Hwy to Sydney and Brisbane, to have a bit of a look!
  6. Hobart to Queeny is 2 1/2 to 3 hrs cruzin, road is in good condition but is windy, Queeny to Strahan is 1/2 to 3/4 hrs also windy, Strahan to Devonport via Zeehan is again 2 1/2 to 3 hrs cruzin, road again is in good condition and not as windy as Hobart to Queeny. Hope this helps, all in all good roads scoot a Skyline along!

    Optimax Fuel

Thanks fella's for all the info. Might have to give BP a go. Only mentioned Optimax cause that's all that's ever been mentioned over here. Maybe should have been more general and asked about 98 ron. Didn't really know what the other company's marketed there 98 fuel as.
  10. Thanks fella's, I have trouble with the bugs here too! thick bastards!

    Optimax Fuel

Hey guys, I will be holidaying over there later this month and was just wondering what the availability of Optimax or similar was like in the country areas of Vic, NSW and QLD. It's not even available here in Tas. Am looking forward to getting over there and trying it out, but once there I want to keep using it for the duration of my trip. Thanks for any info.

  14. What ferry are you catching? Ferries from Tas leave from Devonport.
  15. I'll be up that way in Jan as well, looking forward to checking out some of the import shops too! Am really looking forward to doing a few laps round Mt Panorrama in my GTS-T, is this piece of road strictly policed?
  16. Forgot to mention, be over that way at the end of Jan. Cruizin' up to QLD. Lookin forward to gettin' some Optimax in the old girl!
  17. Where abouts in Tassie are they? There's 1/2 a dozen or more here in Burnie. Like RBcrazy said, every time you turn around there seems to be another one around! If they get to Burnie they should call in! Lime green sounds like an intersting color, would look good I rekon!
  18. Sh*t! 200k's on 50ltrs scary, yeah, I reckon a good tune will fix that. What sort of cooler are you getting? Dave gave me some good idea's on what to try on the datto for some more poke. So it's time for some R & D.
  19. Well had the datto's Power FC tuned yesterday by Dave on Po Automoive's dyno (great setup in an insullated room). Dave was fantastic and I learned heaps! Had a best run of 192 rwkw @ about 5900rpm & 14psi. Not to much of a gain at the top end (need that Optimax!!) but between 3000 & 5400 rpm the power curve fatted up by 20rwkw or more. On std boost it's even improoved fuel ecomomy to between 10 to 11 ltrs per 100km, it was 12 to 13 ltrs per 100km's with the std ecu. I thoroughly recommend him!
  20. Have any of you guys had the check engine light come on after fitting a PFC? Reasons? I can't get it cleared with CONSULT as it doesn't reconise the PFC.
  21. Will be down in Hobart on the 29th to get my Power FC tuned at Griffths Auto, spoke to him up here durning Rally Tas and Targa when he was looking after a R33 GTR, seems to know his stuff & was very friendly.
  22. thank's, I'll pencil that date in!
  23. is that this weekend?
  24. Pls PM me your best price, am very interested.
  25. is the hand controller in english?
