    More Imports

Good to see more imports getting about! Was in Launceston today & saw quite a few, SICKMR (I think) neat MR2, SNIPER Soarer, a couple of Silvia's & of course some good old R33's 3 4 dr's & a couple of 2 dr's, one I think abit worse for wear in a body shop at Kings Meadows. Keep up the good work!
  2. Do you have a better pic that shows the whole guard? What sort of condition are they in? I think they look pretty shmic.
  3. WTB 4 ABS sensors with mounting hardware to suit an R33.
  4. Has been postponed.
  5. A guy at work that jugdes in IASCA comps told me today that the sound off may have been canceled, abit of arguing between north & south.

Just after one to cut up, don't need airbag, wouldn't want to pay more than 50 for one.

R33 Series 2 steering wheel, no airbag preferred.
  8. Try "carmate.com.au", they sell them for about $280.
  9. Take it to a Nissan dealer & they will hook up Consult & clear the fault, takes a couple of minutes, the dealer here didn't charge me anything.
  10. I used a 1mm cut off wheel in my 4'' angle grinder, worked a treat! then used that door edging stuff in a roll to neaten the edges, looks smick!
  11. The guy I spoke to was Rodney Belbin in Hobart Ph 03 6236 9495.
  12. That's strange, I'm also with Shannons, had no problems with my R33 the guy told me it didn't matter how modified the car was either, I'm 40 & pay $600.
  13. Try "Mothers Back to Black", I've used it & it's great
  14. Did anyone go to the silver dome today? was it any good, any imports?
  15. Yeah, pretty pumped. Saw quite a few R33 GTST's while in Hobart , 3 white ones, 2 wine red ones and one black one. Did any of these belong to you guys? It was good to have a yarn to you Roaldin, I could spend all my time fidling with my R33 (though the Missus disapproves) Hope to catch up again someday. Wogboy
  16. I have a gfb hybrid valve, actually will bring boost on quicker than std bov, if you look a the back of a std bov there's a small that bleeds boost off, so as to bring it on abit softer.
  17. Just got back from Hobart a couple hrs ago, had a good time @ howell auto dynoing the r33, 178.6rwkw @ 11psi & 165rwkw @ a std 7psi. am pretty pleased. Rod done a great job.
  18. Be there around 10am wed
  19. Don't know if he allow's them, mods aren't much, k&n panel filter turbosmart boost controller gfb hybrid bov 3" exhaust home engneered fmic
  20. I am getting my 33 dynoed at howell automotive on wednesday, spoke to rod at length last week and seemed to know abit about skylines, he mentioned that he'd done a few.
  21. Thanks, are these bushes or ball bearngs. As for end float I should of had "shaft" in there, a quick explaination just in case. As the bearings (thrust washers in particular) in the turbo cartridge wear, this will increase the turbo shaft end float, (in & out movement of the shaft) to much end float & the impellars can start to machine the inside of the housings.
  22. What bearings? Turbo end float?
  23. Thanks.
  24. I remember seeing in the trading post a couple of months ago that there was an import wrecker or parts place starting up in Hobart cartering for imports is this right? I'm down that way on the 29th & 30th of this month & thought I might check it out. Able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone while I'm down there, taking my daughter down for some uni exams so I thought I might get the Datto dynoed & the boost controller set up at the same time. Anyway if there is a new place down there pls let me know.
  25. I'm after a cheap r33 series 2 steering wheel without the airbag, just the wheel on its own.
