Well being a Commodore owner, it really hasn't changed my view on them. lol I'm more of a fan of the VB-VL anyway, but the VE is a nice looking car. (Better then the VYs-VZs) I would love to have a drive of one and a 13 second 1/4 for a big family sedan is really moving and from what I've heard, around the track they're not bad either. I like Commodores, but there are better cars around.

I have thought about these. VL Calais V8 EL Falcon R31 (Doesnt matter what model it is) I like to keep my options simple and cheap.

I dont mind people starting threads talking about drag racing thats in a controlled enviroment, its just street drag racing is what annoys me. My hatred is fuelled further, when the thread starter, brags about how cool he is, because he beat a <Insert car here> at a set of traffic lights.

What model Commodore was it? Also its a personal choice, some people like them and some people dont. Anyway yes I would love to see Toyota in the V8 Supercars, just for a bit of variety.

In all honesty, I dont care if a stock R31 can beat me. I didnt buy my VL to race stock R31s. Also what I said was just a bit of a joke, no need to resort to VL vs R31 bullshit. What a load of hypocritical bullshit. If you take a look on this page, everyone was actually getting back on topic and there was no GMH vs Nissan debate, until you just had to mention VLs vs R31s.

Well since my car is pretty much stock, these are what I want. A new 5 Speed box Brakes Suspension I find the typical "Extractors and 2.5 inch exhaust" as first mods, like alot of N/A VL drivers seem to take, pretty boring.

Street racing over here is so much more wankerish though. I personally find no enjoyment racing some idiot at the traffic lights for about 100 metres, before stopping at another set. This one time when we were in Newcastle, my old man was driving my VL, anyway we pulled up at the lights next to this Honda S2000, so my old man revved the VL to get the Honda driver's attention, it did so the Honda driver revved his engine as he thought we were going to drag, so the lights turn green and the Honda driver took off like a bat out of hell while we just took off normally pissing ourselves laughing because he f**ked up a gear change and blew out black smoke. I know its wrong exploiting someone's stupidity, but man it was funny. lol He probably went on a Honda forum and bragged about how cool he was blowing off a N/A VL.

The thing is though, just because sports cars are aimed at performance, doesnt give people the right to think that they can smash everything including family cars such as Commos and Falcons. Really how is it any different from idiots in Commos and Falcons, hell family cars in general that think they can smash sports cars? Just remember, cars can be changed, wankers in any make cant.

Coupe-This: I have heard of ULOOKD before, I saw it at Summernats. I'm not a fan of the VL Aeros though, not big on VLs with bodykits. No not really. If I wanted a car for a attractive interior, I wouldnt've got a VL. I've done a little bit to dress it up, but its not on my priority list.

Care factor on what my interior looks like= 0. My oh my how its funny when someone from the other side gives you (Not literally YOU) a bit of stick and everyone comes out gritting their teeth and trying to keep their composure. Just proves some people like to give shit, but they cant take it back. BTW I'm not being a prick, im just saying things from the VL driver perspective.
