has someone mentioned fuel cut? the ecu senses too much of fuel or air (boost) and cuts it. most likely when u just get it to full boost as it will spike. PFC will fix. i hit fuel cut on a CA18DET at 22psi.. well it was 22 as the guage went to 20psi

ok my GTR turbos are Steel wheel 95% sure. and my guage goes just shy of +7.. which im not sure what that is in PSI. my mates GTR is running more PSI and the guage keeps going on R32. BNR34 turbos are no good even the N1 are not worth the money. ull spend 3-400 at a shop fitting them. do it urself on this long weekend with GTRs make sure ur oil feed line and oil return line are free of carbon deposits.. (freqeunt changes of oil and filter will work well as well as a good oil)

N1 blocks wont crack so easially. my mate just picked up his red N1 BNR32.. hes got a N1 block and N1 turbos.. very lucky man. anyone knw the old owner he lives in sydney.?

ok someone prob beat me to it im not gonna read all the post but this is what i would do. unplug ur fuel pump.. disconnect ur ignitor. crank it over. just keep cranking.. it will work. then drain oil new filter new plugs connect pump crank car for a bit connect ignitor and crank somemore. should start.

ok.. everynight i can hear the roar and yelp of hondas (distinctive VTEC sound) racing down the highway from my window at the hyperdome. and i wonder why.. tonight i found out who.. this is my rant im coming home tonight at 10.30pm after spending a pleasent evening with my gf.. its wet and no doubt the hoons (not skylines) wer out in packs.. im heading down logan rd towards springwood in my GTR and some idiot with ther 5000k bright XENON lights (civic) comes up my ass and pulls next to me and tries to race me.. i ignore him and him and his possie pack move further down the road. 1 civic 1 integra an older civic and i think a wrx. the speed off up the springwood on ramp onto the highway i leasurly keep my distance and watch.. up ahead they are waiting for me or someone and are lined up at 60kph on the freeway like a scene from 2F2F.. i pull over into another lane to pass and just making my way home when a full RICER pulsar with a GTiR bonnet tries to run me using his fully sick hectick BOV to make his SR20 sound the deal... i just pull away.. and cruise at 95kph in the LH lane. to late watch the integra GSi and 01+WRX race downt the highway.. 140kph+ im guessing... i exited and went home.. now im just wondering is it cool to travel in packs and race each other in the rain..? at 140kph and over? or only poor quality hondas do it? also is it cool to have a full atmo BOV trying to race my GTR.. which i might add will chop ther rice oriented civics.. also tailgating someone even in the rain dnt make u cool. yes i have a fast car but no i dnt hang my arm out the window boosting my fully sick BOV (stock plumb backs) trying to race the next hoon.. im glad to see none of them wer skylines just 3 or 4 hondas and a WRX. if i had raced the wrx i still would have won.. VTEC IS FULLY SIK! take care mark.

nothing like a bit of cutting and splicing. i ended up making a top AFM plug as a mate told me that the pins wernt touching on the plug with the actual unit.. haha looks messy but does the job.. +1 for heat shrink

u should have a guage measuring before manifold boost pressure.. whats it reading. its a bit stupid to have a BC without a guage.. how would u calibrate it?

i put it on everywher that is black apart from the tube and the metal mounting points.. even though i saw no cracks prob should seal it anyway. just seal the sides that is to sit near the block as it will try to arc out thru the crack to the head.

dummy fit underneath and see for urself.. if u brought it for chips than jacking the car up and dummyfiting it will cost u chips too. if anything u would prob most likely move a rubber mount.. thats it..

year RBs are a bit whacked to do sparkies on.. RB26 aint bad.. but turbos on RB26 are if anyone in brisbane wants me to do ther coils for them let me knw..

to remove calipers ther are two 17mm bolts on the back us a 1/2 inch breaker with small extention crack it then use ur ratchet to take off. dont let the caliper swing on the brake hose.. the front su can turn the hub. get a rattlegun in ther and do it that way.. well u can on toyotas.. i reckomend a die grinder to etch out NISSAN after u painted over it..

aint rthe 040 the internal and 044 external i think hes installed the 040

but the hotter intake temps i think made it miss and having the cold water on helped it cool.. and cleaned out the cyl heads.. anyway.. good stuff on the silicon stuff.

yeah the MR 9 was a good read. its amazing how they are putting out 260kw with ecu upgrade from a 2L wher as STi are still behind..

brand new cat 1000-3000kms old..? exhast is 1000-3000kms old soo. i dnt knw. i still think lowering the intake temps with the water kept it cool and allowed itself to clean the engine of the excess carbon hot spots.. either way. problem fixed. +1 for SAU DIY THREADS
