Nice gunmetal GTR.. that was my first choice when getting one. i got a real nice genuine NISMO exhast on my GTR. it came with it.. its too quiet and i think restrictive. middle muffler must have "S" bends.. it also sounds like a leak at low rpms.. whats the prices for a nice 3" turbo back.. RRP? just wondering how much u paid for ur bits cowie165

  4. u may as well do everything while u have all ur belts off... if ther is foaming bubbles u might also have a air lock.. if its really bad and cant fix it.. u might have to rip ur head off and recon than. careful not to blow ur head gasket in this weather. or u will rip ur head off.. then u can get ur tbelt cam seals front seals tensioners all done.

  7. when metal heats up it expands so does the fluid.. not by much also the fluid gets thiner.. like ur slave cylinder might leak one day when its really hot.. im guessing the rubber that brings the piston back to original position within the caliper is not workin and when the caliper heats up it seizes clamped and doesnt get brought back in.. sorry forget the proper names
  8. Im in need of a GTR AFM plug.. suitable for a R32 GTR.. it is the top AFM plug and has the extra pin for the fuel pump primer. need plug and an extent of wires. pay cash.. SE QLD area thanks mark.

  11. someone post prices? my mates R33 GTST had same problem and so did my GTiR (transfer case).. changed fluid and all good.. anyone got price on a LSD for GTR? nothing too hardcore.. mechanical?
  12. i see steam on start up.. im getting a exhast noise from my cat now.. hehe wonder if its on the way out..? was running rich real rich b4.. now its fine so? also its noisier? any ideas.. exhast is a genuine Nismo frm dumps and unsure bout cat?
  13. u wnt be able to import ur own easially. yeah all the good ones r gone.. i was lefted with a 3.5grade.. BNR32 GTR.. and u'll find alot of them have a bit of rust now.. small patches.. costs heaps to fix..!
  14. i fixed it.. only to have it blow a cooler pipe at 8000rpm.. now its missing up high.. hope it is my cooler piping.. ?!? run ssweet.. plug gaps are set to .75mm and cleaned both AMF and connectors
  15. ... i just checked the NGK plugs that came out of the GTR they r over 1.0.. with feeler gauges. oh well. ill regap them soon. any other ideas? just pulled off both AFM and PS belt. connector pins in top AFM is bent.. rectified now. so will check test soon.
  16. i have changed fuel filter and a fuel line (was split) plugs r PQ20R Denso Platnium's. and have reset ECU and mildly cleaned injectors... still no fix. please i need help its really pissing me off.

Hey, just got the GTR and noticed after a few weeks that it was missing and wouldnt rev past 6500rpm in gear. just miss too much. in nuetral i can hit 8500rpm and black smoke will come out of exhast.. rich? i was told my air flow meter plug connector is bad. and occasionally while driving it will lose power.. retard. and sometimes even stall.. ... it will just stall.. one time during the day.. i was driving from repco and it wouldnt rev over 2500rpm. and when i put my clutch in it would stall.. this problem doesnt occur when its cold.. mostly on the highway or coming to a stop. im thinking its my AFM or both of them. or the top plug connector. or something ignition related. changed plugs and will regap them to .8mm tomorrow.. hopefully something will happen. this is kinda a scary problem as the car just loses all power and will stop stall or retard.. any help would be very appreciated. please thanks
  18. looked at my mates R33 pump.. and it is same place as mine. but prob with the GTR is i got cooler pipes and air box in the way...
  19. hey how do we reset ECU? might be stupid question. ive reseted an ECU on a Prius hybrid but that was done with an IT2. how to go about the GTR? <_<

  22. yeah thats what i wanted to hear. unfortunately im taking half my intercooler piping and airbox out to get to the damn tensioners.. ill just wait till the belt snaps.. thanks black 32. real help ther mate.
  23. my bad but u expected ppl opinions when joinin this site. anyway. its ur car aslong as u sleep soundly at night. bet its a hit with the chicks though. chicks dig GTRs..
  24. is the RB26DETT pump in the same place as urs? if so wher is the tensioner im guessing under the airbox and cooler piping.? am i correct or is ther more to it?
