  14. Yeah.. I was heaps hesitant when buying mine, did the research, asked the right people and seen them on plenty of quality cars.. So picked up a set of JJR items, good bang for buck. In a lot of cases it's not the cam gears its the mechanic!
  15. +1 Old turbo's don't even think there ball bearing, dated technology.. Just get a nice set of -7's, Have a look around you can find these cheap, i got mine for under 2k... Hope you got all the supporting parts for the car to get it through track days. Brakes, oil cooler, catch, clutch, tires etc..
  16. take it as a grain of salt.. But was speaking to someone today who assosiate's with QSS, he told me about the incident, "supposedly" 2 Ferrari's, S15 and some other cars (can't remember) got torched..
  17. Thanks for the interest Sold, pending payment
  18. You get used to it all and get bored... I was in the same situation as you, but since then have jumped into a few higher powered cars and know that over time I would get used to them too.. Im sticking with my guns and "hoping" for 300-320 atw out of my -7's, im sure Il get bored of it after time but I know it will be quite some time before I can fully utilise all that power... Looking forward to other people's responses. Not going to lie, I've asked myself this plenty of times and still do.
  19. Another day, another Nurburgring record. This one's a biggie, though, because the Nissan X-Trail has smashed, destroyed, obliterated the 'Ring lap record. http://www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/3069/

  21. Still for sale mate?
  22. There easy to buy, but harder to maintain.. It's an old car, things can go wrong and most of the time often.. Rego, insurance, regular maintanance, fixing broken things, fuel, fines & if your lucky mods. It's a huge burden on your wallet...
  23. lol.. bunch of jokers ey.. Im not asking for tips for myself, but rather interested in hearing about people's different driving style. Not as simple as you word it, or else everyone would be running fast times.
