  1. Hey mate.. Yeah was definately a good time... Hill climb is pretty good, havn't entered as of yet. Not a fan of the barriers they put in through the corners thought I guess safety comes first. It's pretty hard to improve on track records! Id gladly trade places The -7 are the garrett equivalents to the GT-SS, responsive 300 is what im really after. Planning on spectating when you come up or steering? Cheers Tomek
  2. Decided id copy this off another forum i frequent and make a thread here.. Had an excellent day and pretty chuffed with my improvements... Car; 32 Gtr Power fc, exhaust front pipes all the way back (no a/m dumps), pods and boost tap, excedy twin plate Stocker 16' with Toyo proxy 4's on rear, T1r on front (225) ***Cut and paste*** First time out, was all over the shop struggling to lay the power down but still managing a pb of 46.09. I was running up against an lightly track modded 33gtst (semis, cage, seat, harness, 220kw... not sure what else), the sibling was definately putting a lot of pressure on me tongue.gif Edging infront of me in the first run. Got out to check the pressures and noticed that they had ballooned to 40psi (had adjusted to 32psi night before, must of not put enough heat in before adjustment). Adjusted the pressure again and was patiently waiting for the next run. 2nd run i pulled a 45.5 edging in front of the 33... Only for him to edge back out infront of me in the 3rd run with me still in the 45.5 zone. I turned to 3zercrowd for some much needed advice. I asked, he offered, I applied, he got shitty... laugh.gif 44.94 in the 4th run some .02 quicker then the 33. At this point there was .1 of a second between 7th and 11th overall with an Evo 8 (i think) holding me back from 8th.. Last run and I was quite comfortable with the set-up of the car but not confident that I would improve, worrying even more so that the little brother (33) would win the skyline b4ttle! (commentators view of things). Got out onto the track and on my first warm up lap just concentrating on the lines, I hit the beams at 44.39. The next lap an even better 44.29! Was tough competition, up against mainly late evos all running on semis bar one. Ended up with 2nd in my class (4wd) and not sure on overall atm. Missed the presentation, had no idea it was on! So with a pb of 44.29, Im extremely pleased as a low 45 was my target! Streeters and pads on the verge of replacing tongue.gif Taily 1st run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPC_CEDRE08...feature=related 2nd run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R61Yh1UE_8I clip of me running mid 45's... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm84b5VgzEQ Mods planned; 2860-7 with dumps + supporting fuel hardware (have it at home waiting) New track pads and braided lines (in the mail) Ditch hicas (back end was wiggling under hard braking) Semis! Plan is to get a lot more competetive and get the car and myself ready for when i move back down to Sydney and able to particapate in more track days.. Id Like to thank Hano (wyt32) for the video and for throwing it on the tube. 3zercrowds for the tips tongue.gif and bringing me my trophy! hehe
  3. That's the nicest lambo to ever come out imo... Definately the first car im buying when the ticket and numbers match up.
  4. Xtreme motorsport.. Talk to Paul, he did my car last year... Very happy with the state of it. Few hill climbs and sprints still running strong. He knows his nissans
  5. End of the month cruise is on this thursday, perhaps arrive in a stove plate convoy?
  6. wow... lol.. Photos you were putting up before did not do the car justice.. Super clean bro! Props.. Now to pick your brain for a second, how do you detail your car?
  7. I like it, don't mind the colour either.. One thing I picked was the car looks agressive at the front but very subtle when you pan out to the rear... Some wheels, n1 skirts and some rear pods would finish it imo. It's a keeper thought!
  8. mmmm... might go out tomorrow night if anyone in the area is keen?
  9. rust and synchros are very common, so check them out.
  10. yeah. The mic can often pic up vibrations (not in the engine) and register high, keep driving and see if it's a once in a while thing or a common happening, if the later go see your tuner.
  11. All cars would look all the same if everyone had the same tastes.
  12. Free bump, clean car.. Just curious what sort of boost were you running to make 280kw? How is low down pick up? Stock head gasket? Did this limit you at all? Sorry for the brain picking. Cheers Tomek
  13. yeah fair enough... Aslong as we agree that she's hot!
  14. Yes she can.. Have a look through a few of her videos .... she's actually a "racing car driver" as qouted in one of the clips.
  15. Your not planning on pumping oil through that motor are you! ........... Awesome build up mate... Hope one day I can do something like this to mine, maybe once I have acquired the coin and the knowledge..
  16. yep... 8000rpm for the r32, got mine set at 7700rpm (ceramics, no point)
  17. Something about chicks (who can drive) in imports which multiplies the hotness factor by 100.. mmm...
  18. Could be as easy as starter motor? Mine has the same problem in them morning after not being started for a few days.
  19. Seen it a while ago, excellent find...
  20. I'l take a stab.. Boost leak?
  21. Pm me pics of steering wheel Cheers
  22. Hey mate... How much power can the 040 comfortably support?
  23. Hey mate... 93 onwards got the 33 GTR crank... but the snout to oil pump problem was still there.. It also got the pull type clutch rather then push.
