  1. Check out Autostyle, the for sale forums often have a few 300+ kw cars for sale.
  2. Sorry to hear bro! I've been up here for nearly a year now and this is the 2nd case of a stolen car i have heard of up here. Must of been living in a dream world when i thought this town is a bit more sedate. I'l most probably be out tonight and over the weekend, have stored your number on my phone and will keep my eyes and ears peeled... I hope for your sake the thief is stupid enough to be out! Tried posting this on qldstreetscene.com ??
  3. It would have to be between the s14 and 33 .... The SR and RB25 are good bases for bolt on modifictions and will hold 250kw somewhat reliably.. the 25 has the cubes to go a bit further but the s14 is lighter..
  4. Not sure if this has been added to this thread... But was a great watch...
  5. You would be right mate.. It's not really a track, it's a go kart track up here in Townsville Using 2nd all the way through it, with one change into third down the straight. Tight and windy corner's and a chicane. Still quite tricky in some bits for myself, need to get it down pat since im moving back down to Sydney in the next few years This vid should show it better..
  6. having fun?
  7. Welcome mate... Horn looking GTR there... Kicking myself now for not buying them emotions, had a great deal too what's it got done/planned? Hope you enjoy your stay
  8. Some really nice 32's in here, here's my 93 R
  9. Awesome looking car bud... well done on the purchase... haha... I also learnt to drive manual in my 32 GTR, next day I had to drive from Sydney to Melbourne...
  10. You know you drive a skyline when your slowly putting along the downhill twisty bits behind a corolla, when it moves over the side of the road for you to pass it
  11. Hey guys.. This is my 93 32 GTR on it's first track outing, not much done to it. Pods, 3.5 cat back, Power fc and Boost tap pushing 240 on 1 bar, oh and slotted rotors. One valuable lesson I learnt was don't use shitty tires on the rears, attesa saved my ass on numerous occasions Took it out just to test the waters and see how I like it. Was great fun. Mods planned hopefully done by august= -toyo's -oil cooler/ relocator and tank -fuel pump (044 probably) -Denso 800cc injectors (got them already) -z32 air flow meters (got these also) -braided lines and new fluids -low mount twin set-up (really not sure yet 2530 or the equavalent garret's perhaps) -dumps + front pipe -electronic boost controller -100k service (nearly on 90k)
  12. Saw this car out on a local cruise a few days ago, very clean and serious street car. Mature driver too.... hehe, was infront of him (grey 32 gtr parked next to you at bp) on a nice straight road subtly trying to coax him to hit it in order to make my decision of going single or twin, besides the point. He didn't want to play ball .. Good luck with the sale.
  13. Yep... That would be the case, mine was playing up a few weeks ago, it's all good now thought ... 4wd light on, no power to front wheels.
  14. Looking real good mate! Won't be too long till the car gets on the road and proves it was ALL worthwhile.. Looking forward to updates
  15. Here's the clip for the people who have not seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiQB3AoK48E I hardly think they were ratting on it..
  16. current car with heavy mods + a run about or two.
  17. Go the rebuilt one, make sure it's been done properly though this means confirmation of parts and work. Need less to say you'll hear it from everyone, the amount of money you will save buying one with all the work done to it is ludacris... There is an abundance of them for sale atm and the demand is low, owners having to negotiate to shift there cars.
  18. I've had mine for just under a year now... clocked up 10, 000 k's on it since, few interstate trips. Bought it in Sydney fresh of the boat before it was even complied.. Total stocker apart from the tein's & cat back. Had to sort out a boost leak immediately... Fitted the power fc and pods and had to get a new twin plate for it to cope... Then replaced the rotors.. Other then this it has been smooth sailing (knock on wood) with regular servicing. 100k service is coming up soon and il be getting it out of the way at 90k mark, also need to fix a slight noise coming from my rear bushes? Correct me if im wrong here guys, I think the ones with the branded nissan badge were the aus delivered ones? I've got no nissan insignia on my exterior, sometimes i truly forget that i own a nissan.. haha
  19. Yeah, probably a good idea to change them turbos while its all apart... Save time, money and headaches down the track.
  20. Im quite suprised with my economy, Fraction under 500km to a tank around town in my GTR.
  21. IMO ... XR6 for hassle free daily driving with some grunt. GTR for an occasional blast.
  22. Victoria laws prohibit p-platers driving cars with a power to weight ratio over 150kw/ tonne.. Correct me if im wrong guys
  23. I got my bmx into the back of my 32 gtr relatively easy.
