  1. Kinks they are not meant to illuminate forward. They illuminate the ground immediately infront of the car and to the side a bit. To be honest i feel safer driving with them on because low beams in my car are not that great and it helps me see the immediate area around my car better than otherwise. If i was in heavy traffic i would generally not use them. Ive hit animals before so every bit helps. And they do light up underneith the fog aswell when driving normal, where i live thats quite common and they help alot in that situation. Mind you most people dont live in areas anything like mine. But picking on most fog lights is simply bs there alot more cars out there with blinding low beams and dodgy HID conversions than "fog lights".
  2. Who cares. I drive with my "foggies" on in my s2 r33 half the time. So many people do it in all sorts of cars being fined for it is a joke (and i have). Maybe 1 out of every 100 cars has fog lights that are actually a distraction. I've even seen coppers with theirs on. What should be cracked down on are some of those 4WD's some of the power coming out of their lights, when they are coming the opposite say, literally makes me worry about hitting sometime. Almost shat myself a few times, but then again i do live in a rural area so i can appreciate the need to try and avoid hitting wild animals but then again thats what high beam is for. Oh and dickheads putting HID's kits in without actually changing the enclosuer so the shit beam goes everywhere blinding everyone. Hate that. Fined for foggies is 99% joke and just money raising, a way they can bring the money in pick on people and not go after the real crims causing shit.
  3. dirty little hoe DIF! Weather was awesome and some of the cars god DAMN. I want the Z tune and that beast 31 to have bastard off spring.... can you imagine!?!?!
  4. Awww no pics of my car. Then again thats what i get for being a povo spectator and parked out back! I didnt realise there were so many SAU people going. I was the dude wearing the green and cold bundaberg league tshirt fighting a killer hangover.
  5. Let me guess.... your DJ mash?
  6. Looks HOT. Now go get those damn windows tinted.
  7. I've already gone the H1's... only parkers remain. Not looking forward too it. I'll have another look...
  8. It only happens if i try to put my foot down in a round about or sharp corner, normal driving it almost never occurs, so i know how to avoid it. I have stock fuel pump with a GTR fuel filter. I dont think this is something i can do myself because i have absoltely no idea how or how anything should be. But are you saying the tank has to be empty??
  9. ok well i am not very knowledgable to say the least, so that is well beyond me.
  10. I dont remember seeing any tiny white thing!!! I have a s2 r33...
  11. Hi Guys, My car seems to have a problem whereby if i am say going around a round about, i cannot give it any real power otherwise the car literally starts to conk out and almost stall/come to a crawl unless i back off and when im out of the corner a bit it will let me put the power down again. Its a bit freaky to be honest... like im out of petrol. But i had 1/3 of a tank the other day when it last happened so yeah thats not it. Anyone had this problem before and know what the cause is?
  12. Yeah its the same process but the high beams were much harder to access (atleast for me), could not see &^%. Speaking of which, can someone mention how to change the parkers? I think i can see the little tab thing that has to be pulled out... but cant get it out. lol
  13. Spotted Corrines car at... Corrine's place. And some dero habib in maroon s1 r33 after i left there before getting on the M5. Yeah thats right habiby my car looked hot you just keep driving. And some other snobby dero in Bradbury in a black s1 r33 tonight, like always, didnt return wave. jack asses!
  14. Low beams are easy to change compared to high beams, did that on the weekend what a bitch!!
  15. Can anyone who has got one for a s2r33 please explain how to install. Either i have received the wrong box, or i am simply dumb and cant work out how to get it in.
  16. Interested in the front light enclosures. Can you provide me some good pics??
  17. Had the bilstein adjustable shocks installed yesterday, using my existing stock springs. Very happy with the result! Ride is alot firmer but not stiff and bumpy at the same time, which is exactly what i wanted. I got 18"s put on at the same time and had to lower the car my 2 circlips on the shocks and i think the result is perfect. Needed spacers aswell. Just a note, when we compared the bilstein shocks to the stock ones, the circlip groove sydney kid mentioned is the same ride height as the stock springs does not measure up when you put them side by side... or maybe i got confused and thats bilsteins recommended height, not the stock height of skylines. In anycase, 2nd bottom circlip groove for 18" rims is perfect for me!
  18. Nevermind, they are now on and dropped height by 2 circlips (16mm) on the bilstein shocks and its perfect i think.
  19. Hi guys I am getting the bilstein adjustable shocks installed tomorrow (finally). My rims/tyres are currently stock and i will be putting on at the same time as the shocks new 18" rims and 235/18/40 front and 265/35/18 rear tyres. I am using the stock springs on the new shocks (for now) and my car is a s2 r33. I am unsure if i should lower the car 8mm (1 circlip) or 16mm (2 circlips). What do you guys think? Car is used as every day vehicle and frequents bumpy roads, and of course a bit of fun on weekends. I dont want a superlow car its not about lowering for an image etc, i just want it to look appropriately nice considering it will now have 18's and should be lowered a bit and to ride/handle well. So 8mm or 16mm?? Cheers Rob
  20. The fact the needle is going troppo is a reflection of the o2 sensor actually working ive been told, so its not entirely useless in that sense.
  21. I may be interetsed after seeing the finished product and people are using it.
  22. I'll take the mechanical EL apexi boost gauge if its still available. PM me.
  23. Problem solved, it needed a grounding wire.
