  1. Yes well the politics and selective application of rules and influence throughout the sport is a whole other can of worms. Please dont trash this thread.
  2. Are there any leagues fans here in sydney? More specifically, Roosters fans? Yes i know my team is shit lately but being a supporter is about more than just winning, although nowhere near as good when your not! So please dont ruin my thread bagging my team. I would just like to ask if there are any roosters fans as i MAY have a spare ticket tomorrow so thought what better way than to meet someone from the skyline community who is also a roosters fan and watch the game. Its at 3pm tomorrow (sunday) at aussie stadium, seats are in Roosters supporter bay and the game is against the Sharks. Ticket is free as i have 2 season passes so just thought i would ask if anyone would like to meet up and go? Not positive ticket is available, but more than likely. So yeah, let me know.
  3. Whoever that is, he's a f**king moron. Im struggling to think of a dual headlight car that doesnt operate that way!
  4. STEL i think you just summed up the difference between SAU people and "others".
  5. What was the alarm/immobiliser? Seriously this is getting insane we are hearing about skylines being stolen every week. And noone is finding them. There must be a professional ring going around, respraying them and or taking them interstate. I shit myself each day checking to see if my car is still there at night after work!
  6. Absolutely no idea but baking soda absorbs smells, and shit if ur that desperate maybe as a last resort after all cleaning has been done use some sort of scented oil to over power the smell. haha. i dont know. go get half a kilo of prawns and leave them bagged outside in the sun for a week, then throw them thru her car.
  7. I dont remember it having those plates. And ignore me anyway, i call anything rice with a wing like that and which looks hot. Probably cos my car is more like a damaged battletank.
  8. Saw a few lines over the weekend. Amanda's R32 in campbelltown heading up to macarthur, number plate AWL-15F. A tiger gold R33 all riced up with wing the same time as above. On Sunday a maroon R33 heading out of campbelltown towards appin, thrashing it being a bit of a hero. Car sounded a bit sick but probably just the exhaust.
  9. Anyone who uses optimax extreme must not want to keep there skyline long term. I've heard from multiple sources in japan its not good in our cars over time.
  10. I get between 350-400 from full tank.
  11. I'd rather put detergent in my car!
  12. relay harness sounds good. Any auto elec will know what this is all about? I think i will get some mtecs for my low beams, foggies, LED for parkers, and some narva plus 50 globes/phillips vision plus for high beams. Then i can work out what to do with the HID later. Now i just have to work out how to install these normal halogens...
  13. Maybe he had a proper full HID package that transforms the lightning encloser? Not just an upgrade kit like we got. Do you have any issues with the mtecs? Would you recommend them? Be sure to post back when you do install them!
  14. As in globes or actual assembly?
  15. """"Regarding the bulbs, by all means install them. the cutoff and everything will stay the same. but refer to Daniel stern's page regarding bad blue bulbs. It is a common misconception that they decrease the lighting emitted even though it appears brighter because it's whiter. Basically, to make the light whiter, they use a blue filter which cuts out a lot of the yellower light. the bad thing is this makes it dimmer (most of the light from the bulb is yellow). Also, those ricer bulbs don't last long because they're shit quality."""" Are you referring to the HID or the mtec halogens i want to put in? I do want the white/ever so light blue tinge for my low beams/foggies. High beams i dont care, im happy to have yellow colour for maxiumum illumination. Whats a relay harness?
  16. Cant remember the diff oils used on my car but i know one is elf.
  17. I read that article, it seems to refer to projector lights and not reflectors which my skyline has.... Seeing these lights in action would be good. I think in the mean time i might replace my globes with mtec halogens, is this ok?
  18. I do drive around with high beams quite a bit living on an acreage in the bush, but yes if these are ok to use as low beams and can be adjusted if annoying to others then lows would be ok
  19. Thanks. I am just really worried about pissing other motorists off and/or getting defected by the cops. Pics would be great, face on and showing how far they go/what they hit. Are you in Bella Vista? I have a friend in Kings Langly, if you are interested in meeting up sometime soon so i can see the lights first hand that might be an idea too.
  20. Hi Malecki thanks for your reply. Can you please comment on what they are like now you have them installed? What the light dispersion is like? How they are effecting other motorists? Should they be adjusted to angle downwards more and would this solve any issue? What about the idea of having them installed AS high beams instead of lows? Also... a pic or 2 of them in operation would be unreal.
  21. Yeah its driving me f**king nuts too Trooper! I dont even know where they all are!
  22. I have mine, imported car a few months ago.
  23. How would you say it is? And what can be done about it? Can you adjust them or something? Who is the person you installed them for, can they come on here and comment?
  24. I understand that it is cheaper. But light dispersion is a serious issue and people were adament it was not a major problem which was why i purchased. But if its how manwhore says and the light is going everywhere glaring other motorists and not directed as it should be, then whats the point??!!
  25. Have you done this? More like a dish sponge or foam used to wash car?
