Sydneykid, do you do fittings for these suspension components? If so where are you locaed, and rates?

Can anyone comment of the quality of these rims? Are these brand new with brand new tyres or good condition used? Will they fit R33 S2 no worries?

Hi guys, As you may know from other threads i am looking to get some 18" starcorp Impuls rims with falken 451/2 tyres. Two people recently have brought up the fact i will have wider rear tyres and say this is not a good idea and will create alot of understeer.... where as i thought it would give me better grip? Especially with decent tyres...? I know the rims arent the best quality, but its just a street car, not for racing. I dont see why they wouldnt be adequat as others on here have them and say they are ok.

i got mine installed on the steering columb direction above the ignition.

Yeah but you gotta remember i am sure there are alot more commodore and magna thefts etc than skylines due to sheer numbers out there. Its still scary though. Maybe we need to go that extra mile to make our cars some how more visually deterring to thieves... but how?

What sort of alarm was it and how was it installed? It have battery backup siren? I guess its not too much effort to shut the siren off but still i'd rather make them bloody work for it. Just thought seeing as you had to experience it you'd be a bit more giving with details to maybe help others learn from your experience.

Been around to stores and online, almost everything in 17" are only 7-7.5 wide... i want wider. Find the odd 8 wide rim but not found any i like. Only ones that i have are expensive import rims which are definitely way outside the budget. Will contemplate finances and whether i can plunge into 18's that i like and new shocks.

I have some scratches and chips etc i wouldnt mind getting fixed, he do this? Silver S2 R33. Can he give rough quote from emailing pictures?

Do a search for the name Alan Jong(sp?) on SAU, he did mine and other ppls, does a good job! Makes it nice and difficult for thieves to get at!

Just been out to a few tyre and rim places... there isnt really jack shit in 17's out there. They are all narrow rims except for 2 sets of Lenso's i didnt mind, but that was it. And to be honest i didnt like them THAT much because they were polished metal/silver or something... looked pretty average compared to shadow chrome. Oh well, might have to just get 18's after all!!!

Yeah i think i will go for 17"s now and get some blistein shocks not long after. Can i legally put the 17"s on without modding suspenion to compensate?

What prices have you seen these 452's for? Any articles or reviews? Some solid info would be good!
