Well i was thinking about 245 on the rear and 225 on the front? Is that a good idea? Wider than stock obviously and should give me better steering and and traction in the dry... yes?What width rims would i need for that? Or is another choice preferable...? Remember, my car has stock coils and suspension. So cant be TOO wide. but i dont know anything really, whats why im on here asking.

I get my car in a few weeks (finally!!) and i am really keen to get some EL or reverse EL dials for the dash. Love the look. modyourcar.com.au seems to have them and they look alright, but come in various colours. Who here has got them? What ones exactly and how have you found them to be? Get them professionally installed? And lastly, pics... please. I am dieing to actually see them fitted and in use, what they are like etc.. Rob

Hey guys so i dont think i have gotten a solution to my original post. I know i am going to get 17" rims, and pretty much set on the falken 451 tyres... but what size tyre combo for front and back?? Good handling and grip in the dry, but at the same time not too dangerous in the wet. Thoughts?

Its illegal to mount it on the pillar and ontop of the dash i think... ? Doesnt exactly leave many options.

Hi Guys, My car arrives in march and i want to put some EL dials in for the speedo etc you know the type im talking about. Where is best to buy? Somewhere local or import, and who specifically? Also i heard doing it can very possibly f**k up your dial and needle calibration... is this a real issue, or more of a beat up? I guess im interested to know what is involved in installing the EL dials and whether i should get it professionally done?

Thank you very much blind elk. I am 90% sure the car has stock suspension, not aftermarket. I have concluded 17" is also for me. Money is a factor, but its not incredibly tight. I do want to put some decent rubber on whatever rims i get. And was thinking a wider tyre on the rear for performance, but just not sure what to go with? ie front and rear combo?

Dammit everytime i read into wheel and tyre talk i get confused. 8.5 this 9.5 that offset something else. Can someone explain what each means?
