whats the reputation like for young and cool??

Looks like i will have to go with Young and Cool, 2.2k premium, about $400 more than justcars are quoting me to renew my policy, but much lower excess should something bad happen. Bugger. Does anyone know much about young and cool? They have a good rep?

Guys anyone know who i can go with when i semi regularly park my line at train stations and friends houses when i go to work? Only insurance companies that seem to be willing to insure me are Just Cars and Young and Cool. $1800 just cars but $2.8k excesses.... young and cool 2.2k premium and 500-1k excess... Ryno and Vigil would insure me for around $1400 premium and $500 excess if i didnt park it in public during the day. I mean im damn carefull about where i do park it so it has maximum safety and doesnt draw attention. dammit. Anyone??

Hi all Well tonight i return to my car at the train station and notice a few cars over some bogan scumbags are flogging the number plates off an old subaru wagon. It took a few seconds to realise it wasnt there car and by that point they saw me and i froze just thinking f**k, they have seen i have caught them doing it and they looked at my car. I know there number plate but they saw mine and my car so can easily come back and flog mine aswell or just vandalise it. Are there ways to keep your number plates safe? like special screws or something?

I just got a significantly better insurance quote from Ryno aswell. Problem is it says car must be regularly garaged at night... my car doesnt go in the garage, it goes behind the house (and on an acreage at that so pretty damn safe). Is it safe to just say its garaged??

Man i cant find anywhere local thats "recommended" for smash repairs and resprays that can do my car within the next week.... one of the places is even busy for 3 weeks!! Spewing!

When i told JustCars the other day that i had a fmic, thats all they wanted to know. They didnt care about how it was installed or anything. Infact, on my new policy they have sent that starts next month if i agree, it just says "intercooler"... thats how generalised they are. And when i had a whinge about my agreed value not going up despite mods (f**king redbook agreed value and their internal policy of not going more than 3k over that if its not newly purchased) she said the point was if something happened to the car and those specific parts or damaged or stolen, they need to know to cover. Which makes sense. She didnt say anything about it voiding the entire car policy. Although i know thats the case with other insurers so i guess its quite possible its in the Justcar T&C's aswell.

I was speaking with Justcar about my policy the other day, from my understanding, they just wont cover the fmic as its an additional modification. Very sorry to hear about your accident mate. I had an accident on the hume highway just before the ingleburn exist on friday. f**king gigantic mutilated truck tyre came out from under some cars ahead of me that had slammed on their breaks and i had nowhere to go but hit it. f**ked up my front bar and lip so need some work done. I feel terrible, so can only imagine how distraught you must be. From what i hear campbelltown smash repairs are the best locally. I hope to get my kit damage fixed at a place in ingleburn recommended to me by powerplay... see how that goes tomorrow when i talk to them.

Just had another look at mine, and its right near where the tyre hits the rim. Maybe 1cm from it.

Yeah i can see where your talking about, but is that a chunk out? Mine is similiar i think. Except the 3cm chunk thats been damaged is still attached at once end to the tyre... hence me thinking ok to adhesive back on?

Hi Guys Well today i had a little bit of an accident, and after that happened, i was a little shook up and trying to find somewhere off the highway to pull over asap, and my nose was pouring out with blood, so as i pulled over i wasnt paying attention and gutter scraped my rims hardcore. Anyhow, that was bound to happen sooner or later i guess but i actually appear to of damaged the front passenger tyre sidewall a bit too, there is a little strip/chunk about 2-3cm long thats cut out bit still connected to the tyre. Its not very deep... i've heard any kind of sidewall damage is a massive no no and really bad thing. I was thinking ill just glue it with some sort of adhesive to secure it as its not punctured or overly deep or anything.... or is this a major issue?? Cheers

Cops definitely target them, all depends on the region your driving in and luck. Being a dipstick only draws more attention and is probably why most of us decent people get targeted now.

manwhore no i dont think the LEDs i got from kezza are like that. and yeah i only got 4 LEDs. Kinda cant do anything until i get enough for the cluster!!! how did this happen??

Kezza mate what are you talking about i just clicked the link and doesnt show the cutting of any slit??? Just shows that you slide them over poking the needle through the centre hole.... which was what i thought annyway? my blue met dials came totally pre cut anyway... are not the white dials the same? Lastly, how do i go about getting that fifth blue LED from you? pronto pronto!!

i have M80G with microwave sensors, or is it ultrasonic? f**k i cant remember. Anyway dont think i've ever had false alarm with it, but if u leave the window down and a someone sticks a finger inside the car, they go off! Wind would probably do it too i imagine if the window was down and it was armed. I like it!
