  5. too many people got off the net before god's hand struck them.
  6. fair enough. meridian do half cages for like $1000, so BD's price is pretty good. also... expect to this pic to be posted in many more threads in the future:
  7. since the 2005 handbook (section J) from memory (I could be wrong haven't looked at it in a couple of years). depends on the event you're competing too, half cage is fine for speed events, but for rally etc you need full cage. Also just cos its CAMS compliant doesn't mean it is ADR compliant. Guess it all depends on what you want the cage for? street or track?
  8. oh. sif pay that much for a bolt in mang. you might as well get an exhaust place to knock you up one in chromolly. bolt ins aren't CAMS approved anyways, so just freeball it cos you don't have any regulations to comply with.
  9. Just making sure you know that CAMS approved half cages are rear half, not front half. http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/10_gen_re...dule_j_q210.pdf
  10. kris, stop being a douche. if people don't want personal details, that you were privy to on account of being a mate, shared with the general public, then you should just shut the fuck up about it.
  11. wtf india? wtf?
  12. well looks like you just left sydney before the weather there got depressing. I'll be in syd this weekend.
  13. Who's. Your. Daddy? All set and ready to go. Now just need to get the wheels from japan to oz, bust em apart and then get the outers machined up.
  14. 8.5 and 9.5. His were custom ordered 5x100 at the right offset etc. There's no diff between the 2 door and 4 door as far as fitment goes. I plan on rolling that lip out as well, for extra width, so I should be able to run 9.5" in the front and 10.5" at the back with a little poke, or 9 and 10 with no poke. personally I like poke over pulled fenders, just finishes the transition.
  15. Ugh, just got a quote to plate 144 nuts in black... $100 shit just keeps adding up.
  16. FFS... quick search in japanese just came up with this dude in Japan: FFFFUUUU... 2nd in the world to rock meisters on a golf just doesn't sound as catchy
  17. aren't you an engineer? get on it.
  18. ... or you could probe the ECU's input/output signals and just make it do what the ECU does via emulation. your car's ECU is the PC equivalent of a 386. ARM processors can do 1000 times the calculations that your ECU can do in the same time.
  19. esp when the n00b decides to half arse it and chop it off. next time i'll just ban em. this playing nice and being helpful shit's overrated
  20. just another ARM based board.
  21. drove the ceffy again after changing plugs. no improvement. think it's the crank angle sensor playing up.
  22. I only slap strangers.
  23. lol I like the reasoning I gave the woman... me: "I'm buying a 2000 model, economical, sensible car which doesn't attract attention" her: "why?" me: "so I can daily it without getting hassled and not have to worry about maintaining it as much" her: "and what mods are you doin to it?" me: "epic stance, gangster fitment, paint, cosmetics, pod, exhaust, rom, stereo" her: "so basically taking away all the economy, drive-ability, sensibility and reliability? and it's gonna get noticed everywhere it goes?" me: "yes" her: *facepalm*
  24. but I want lumberjack plaid mang! plaaaaaaaid!
