  1. do it. instant manhood fitment.
  2. yeah I'd use a windows box too with a C++ or C# library to migrate to Cocoa, but work specifically wants me to code in Cocoa using apple's SDK only. Which blows baby goats.
  3. good thing you didn't buy wheels for your car before you bought the car Dezz.
  4. lol yeah I think I'm gonna have to part with my Golf for a while so I can pull the V35 apart and hack it.
  5. I've got my own 2U rackmount server hosted in Arizona, but I use that for personal dev work and "other" activities. Not gonna sell space/bandwith off that. Justhost are the worst of the colocators. They basically shove as many accounts as they can fit into one server till they run out then start another one and so on. If you happen to need more space and the server is already full, they migrate you to another server, which can be a headfuck as they've been known to run totally different versions of software on different servers. They're like the Dodo of hosting. Cheap and nasty. Find yourself a local colocator sharing a rack based in Brisbane. It'll be fast for your australian visitors, there's someone in Australia accountable for your shit and best of all you get an invoice for your business (i'm assuming this is for a business).
  6. oh so the screen is for climate display only? ghey. check out what they can do with the RX8 display: http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=195323
  7. if you can wait 2 months I might have 4 unmunted wheels in fail fitment (18"x7" +35) without faces you can pick from.
  8. was gonna put a set of those on the golf. found a set of 5x100 PCD fitment 2 piece S2R's with fail fitment. are yours 2 piece or 1 piece (does it have bolts attaching the face to the wheel) and is the munted one munted in the face or munted on the lip?
  9. In other news, just bought a Xanavi 2005 2006 update set. according to the guys I spoke to in japan, CD-ROM B contains a firmware image, so gonna try decompiling it to see what I can meddle with. Hopefully should mean I can have my own custom boot screen and language. Also itching to plug my bus probe into the factory stereo to see if I can replicate the signals going to the info screen, like they've done with the RX-8. mock up an ipod adapter using an arudino and plug it into one of the data feeds, to show song name etc. or at least get it to work with the remote on the steering wheel using an aux mode on the stereo. These new age bus electronics are fun to hack haven't been this excited since hijacking the bus on my golf.
  10. lol i had 18x8.5 and 19x9.5 on my R32 staggered staggerage! Dezz, how much was the GTR in the end?
  11. been looking into getting the sportec design kit from TSM in japan: They seem to have stopped making them though, so we'll see. failing that I'll find a nismo kit out of a wrecker or something. And combining it with a hikkata moulded bootlid from the US Which means I'll have to wire up a solenoid to release the boot using a switch in the cabin.
  12. my remote shutter/hold switch I bought on ebay for $5 incl postage was probably the best accessory I got for my D90. No shake, easy to use on tripod, lets me set up the camera and then stand away from it while taking pics... which is great when you don't want to startle animals etc. Awesome for macro photos.
  13. Compliance doesn't mean anything, compliance just means that it conforms to ADR's. State road laws form an extra layer on top of ADRs, which is what you've violated.
  14. no one would pay $4000 to ride you niggeroj. settle.
  15. ^^^ fake original:
  16. he shoulda got you for bad taste cos you run neons. but yeah, sounds like a regular check for sydney. they're right though, you can't have flashing blue or red lights in your cabin area while driving.
  17. some of those were Autech special editions tho Drunkan.
  18. Well any kind of brownie points will do atm. Brumby's promised 2000 more members in the force by next year and they've just had an intake of a 1000 or something, so they have to show some stats to justify that to both the public and the people signing the cheques.
  19. FFS stop recommending justhost to people, they are the scum of hosting. Price is not everything.
  20. don't think that's OEM
  21. go to vietnam... last time we were on hols there we found a place that let you choose a range of guns from AK's to pistols. 3 clips for $20.
  22. run the engine with a fresh supply of water and the drain plug open. There'll be coolant still in the engine that needs to be cycled out too.
  23. make sure you flush the living crap out of your system before changing brands. japanese coolants run different chemical compositions to the aussie ones. even the aussie brands have different chemicals in them. The effects of mixing them can result in sedimentation which can result in your system clogging up, or in corrosion. if you are buying the same brand and type of coolant as previously in the system you should be OK, but if you're making a transition, please flush your system completely. As for recommendations, I usually buy the Nulon Green concentrate and buy a couple of bottles of distilled water at coles/woolies.
  24. epic lol @ "Viva garage" and "perfect fitment" in the same sentence.
  25. I admit, I have gone in on a Sunday on the way home from brunch/lunch with mates to drop a few kids off at the work pool. 24hr access fuck yeah.
