  2. The GTR club that you're not part of? Mohsen
  3. Yeah got chatting to him, he maintains a f**kin clean shop and is so anal about clean tools in the right place! apparently his mum's in hospital with terminal cancer, so he had to shut the shop early for the coming couple of weeks to get in to visit her. I left the boots on the arms all cracked up hoping he'd pick that up so I could just swap that out, but he could not give more fux.
  4. you don't count, you're one of the few ah boys who put it in reverse by accident instead of first and decided to roll with it and see where it took you.
  5. also this:
  6. Everyone parks their shitheaps at the station. So they park the R33 at the station. Why? Because shitheap. Hey BTW, the dude you gave me for RWC? Good guy VACC. Took his time but did RWC no hassles didn't even pick up on stuff I put there as bait for him to pick up on. f**kin lies. In singapore the only people I've ever seen engage the reverse gear is foreigners. They can hardly drive well going forwards SIFFFF they can drive better backwards. She's a dirty scamming liar, give her the works. I bet she had her hazards on while doing the whole thing so she claims immunity from all wrongdoing. Yes, in Singapore apparently if you have hazards on you can do any-f**kin-thing and not be liable... not the law, but you try explaining that to them. Slam brakes on a freeway? Hazards on. Park in the middle of a roundabout? Hazards on. Run over a kid on a bike? Hazards on. You want a Blitz Sus Power filter. Best filtration system (that still flows similar amounts to a pod) on the market if you're limited to box: http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18674&cat=272&page=1
  7. Convertible? Well there goes all the streetcred this car ever had. I park next to a white FT86 (and a burgandy R33... anyone on here?) every day at Gardiner station. The more I look at it, the more I keep thinking it should've been the new Hyundai Tiburon.
  8. ugh... rates. Tomorrow. fuark.
  9. That means someone's gonna be selling a cheap set of three meisters pretty soon. Saweeeet!
  10. Nah just a 1.5 hour train ride into the city then back out (null)
  11. Fuark... gotta get from Dandy to Bayswater by public transport to pick up the car from the roadworthy place tomorrow morning tho. FML.
  12. The bleck Golf? nah picked it up a month ago, just been sittin around till the VAG shop had an opening to service it (teeheehee vag opening service) Avoided temptation to mod it till I had it all regod and roadworthied.
  13. vintage olympus SLR is for hipsters, or if you're a complete and utter muppet, then you'd go for some sort of lomography camera. I listed out all the parts that I've got to go onto the golf to the "VAG specialist" and he just looked at me like "i am sooo not touching your car ever again!"
  14. 2001 MK4 GTI. Not a fan of MK5's, I do like the MK6 and MK7 but cbf balls-out modding somethng relatively new. Hahaha that's what I've done to the old golf! The back seats are permanently down for chewie to ride around in. The MK4 is awesome... it's the last golf where the bottom of the back seat hinges up and forwards, and then the backrest folds down... giving you a flat boot from the back of the car through to the front seats... and no seat gaps for the dog to fall into!
  15. w00t... new golf has roadworthy! Now to get rego done and then to start mods! yaaaaaaay!
  16. lol actually I was gonna get a good panel beater chuck the boser hood extension and flare the guard out for me and charge it to the claim, and cover any extra that's needed out of pocket. do it all "in one hit" eh? eh? youseewhatididthar??
  17. i wasn't even mad at first cos I was like "I'm gonna be cuting, welding and flaring that guard as soon as it's regged in a few days anyways..." but then he goes into some tirade about me being illegally parked cos I was too far from the kerb or someshit so he's not liable... so it's on like donkeykong. got his details and set my insurance on him.
  18. I played water polo until 2nd yr uni if that helps?
  19. Birds = muzza. QED.
  20. muzzas fuckin love jetskis. fact. also... took the new golf to the VW specialist to give it a once over and full service before roadworthy tomorrow. park in front of the place, jump out walk into the shop to hand over my keys. Old dude wanting a second opinion on a 17k bill VW charged for an engine replacement in his Touareg is being served, so I wait patiently. Old dude finishes up, walks out. I start chatting to mechanic. Old dude walks backs in and goes "sorry mate, I just backed into your car". FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
  21. Invest in a proper anti-fog and anti-glare shield and wipe with Rain-X before each race. The shields that come with helmets by default are usually rubbish. Even if you buy a cheap helmet, a good visor can make all the difference. Or... http://www.velo.com.au/itemdetailspage/31915 In any case, if all you're using it is for CAMS events, just get one that's Snell SA2010 certified from the US. they're a lot cheaper than the extortion money local mobs ask. It won't come with an AU cert sticker, but you only need one of those for road use. For example those Pyrotech and Bell helmets can be imported from the US for about $100 less. Make sure you don't get an SA2005 helmet, cos you can't use those after 2015. An SA2010 you can use till 2020.
  22. Plates arrived.
  23. hehehehe GT Arse-pick.
