well the idea is to go back to all metal panels, stock bodykit which is shaved and plastic welded etc. gonna cut the metal guards up, then chuck em under the rollers to give em different curves and seams. weld in a "boser style" front on the stock GTSt bonnet too. basically what the euro boys do with golfs, done to the 32. to finish off i'm gonna chuck 18x10" all around and dump it on its guts. i'll keep stock suspension on hand if i get defected. not gonna rego the camaro, i'll just drive it on trade plates

that's not bad for grad. some of my mates got shafted with a 45 + super for grad positions... employers were pretty much like "you want a job, you play by our rules, otherwise we'll just give it to someone else." so now they're just gaining experience and as soon as they get a better offer, they're outta there.

yeah as far as I can tell, it takes a long time to respond between 10am and 12am, the data eventually comes through, so I'm guessing its a database/software issue than a connectivity issue.

lol well he wanted an R34 front on BN blister kit (copy pulled off my original, so its not that bad) rather than get a Bee*R 324R kit. Net result, the R34 front sits a lot lower than usual. We took it back to metal and bonded the glass n sheet together etc, so its done properly... but its stock on the inside from memory, so meh. And it sits too high for my liking. Think he wanted to make it a showcar or something.

I'd say we're actually in a technological slow down. we made massive leaps and bounds in the 90's when it came to technology, our biggest advancement in the last 5 to 10 years has been... the iPhone? GTFO. We've got a massive rush of tech application of late, basically new ways of using old tech (like broadband internet, and combining javascript and XML to produce "web 2.0", pushing data over wireless etc). About frikkin time. Manufacturers and provider mentalities used to be too conservative to adopt radical ideas for fear of alienating customers. Nowadays they're expected to adopt it or simply miss out, so they learn to use what they're given. Its about fuckin time we stopped letting the knuckledraggers in society stop the rest of us from leading better lives.

hmm yeah, i would have thought it'd be much more exxy to export one out of the UK than to pick up an S1.5 GTSt with minor mods locally for about 6-7 grand. Then again, all depends on how much value you put on history and trust. I wouldn't buy an R33 GTSt locally unless I was doin a ground up rebuild, cos I know at some point, a 17 year old would have owned it.
