not meaning to stereotype, but I know at least 3 leb workshops in syd that can give you a pink slip for the right price without even looking at the car. that said, if I turned around and sold a car with their dodgy roady, and they got caught out for it, they'd come see me personally with baseball bats. Try tellin the bloke you bought it off that you're gonna dob in the workshop, most times he'll be good mates with the guy who issued the roady, and if the workshop doesn't wanna lose their license to issue roady's and a hefty fine, then they'll convince the guy who sold you the car to offer a full refund. if you get what I mean.

I'll check the workshop on the weekend n see if we've got anyone who wants to sell a non running registerable chassis. If I were you, I'd cut your losses and buy a good car, then part out the one you have.

you could rock up to a club organised event (and afterparty involving margaritas) if you wanted to talk to some genuine enthusiasts keen to do the right thing by the law while still owning some exotic machinery... basically everything that goes against the brush that mainstream media wants to paint us as in exchange for pop ratings.

its not colour matched the spotwelds have sunken in (are they even spotwelded?) there are cracks in the bog (this one's probably the worse offense) the silicone lining is just slopped on (has to look like factory if you wanna pass inspections) there is no way in hell that's ever gonna pass a vicroads or roady inspection in that state. your best bet is to take it to a panel beater that specialises in VIV clearances, as they'll have a better idea about what it takes to make a car pass those inspections.
