  1. there's a bigass billboard with a hotline number on the entrance to the Western Ring Road on the Greensborough Bypass. Sounds like it's privately run though, no signage about council or police involvement.

  3. souds like they've got the internet in Sunshine/St Albans again.
  4. I made backups onto the PC i used for development, but unfortunately I think that PC was formatted or something. It took me the good part of 3 years to get the backend feeding all the data from auctions, japanese car yards etc properly, and the same amount of time for Craig to develop the backend, admin system etc. all of which was lost. he's done a fairly good job of restoring it and polishing it up, its got all sorts of fancy 2.0 stuff now from the preview I saw.
  5. technically if you're shooting in RAW mode on a DSL withover 12mpx, then you can adjust exposure digitally and still retain a fair bit of quality. Don't really see why you'd wanna do it that way, esp when DSLR's these days take a second to do multiple exposure stops.
  6. you have a GTR. ie you have a front wheels with driveshafts in them. its nose heavy compared to a lighter GTS as you have an extra turbo, heavier hubs and suspension etc. an extra diff in the engine, driveshafts, an ABS system etc etc.
  7. In! oh wait. nevermind.
  8. I lol'd.
  9. omg bro, why be such a fried kent for?
  10. You'll be waiting a while before it affects australia in any way. <rant>Most of the guys who buy IS350's are guys who just got into the 60K plus job market, are working profesional jobs and wanna impress their mates with a fancy car with a label that is somewhat luxurious. They're the same wankers that buy base model Mercs and 3 series Beemers. Likewise most of the guys who buy V35's are usually the same type but are either hard up for cash or are actually smart with how they spend their money (so they get luxury for a lower price, then brag to their IS or 3 series driving colleagues how their cars are better). Either way, none of them will ever ever ever mod their car with epic low or gangster fitment.</rant> Yeah some romanian guys managed to use a client login to upload a rootkit that then overwrote every single file on the webserver folders with a worm. Unfortunately this overwrote pretty much all the code I had done, and since I'm not free to do them any more Craig's doing em again from scratch. He was supposed to launch at Christmas, but it hasn't happened. Not even sure why there was no backup of all the stuff I did.
  11. make sure you grab the independant ones. the ones with pimps are a mess to clean up after, and usually you have to dispose of bodies.
  12. since when do mamak/hawker stores get good reviews from foodies. You go for the awesome unhealthy food, not the customer service or the decor. Get in, get food, GTFO. A better testament to how good the food is, is the queue of malaysian/indonesian/chinese/indian students inside at dinner time.
  13. git off ma porch!
  14. I highly fuckin doubt it datniggadezz.
  15. Its probably the most complicated engine swap to do as far as Skylines go. oh no, there's a 1.8L carby R32 that is a headfuck to put an RB26DETT into. that could possibly be a touch harder. At the end of the day its easier and much much cheaper to sell a car and buy one with the same specs, than to try and upgrade it.
  16. do NOT buy a GT-4. you'll wanna mod it down the track instead of selling it and buying a better car. Also if you're gettin an N/A poopra, get an auto one. Its not like shifting it quicker is gonna make any difference to how fast you go, they're slow regardless.
  17. I'm sure they're backward enough that they still work on a barter system. Maybe offer them a prime cut of stegosaurus meat for their engine.
  18. and this... is just pure awesome.
  19. lulz
  20. lol I only have China Bar food when drunk or hungover. at least that way its guaranteed to taste good. Guess i'm kinda used to eating at Penang Coffee House, where the food's good and cheap too. Monkey Bar in the city does some wicked good Kwae Teow and Mee Goreng too. Matt/TJ... if you guys can wait till sometime late Feb I might have a kotthu night at my place (chuck it on FB and invite the crew around).
  21. Bonjour! Nice GTR. Hope you enjoy your stay, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask us anything. Oh and as always, the more photos the better
  22. I doubt that car can be imported into Australia given the amount of mods on it, unless someone's willing to convert it back to stock to comply it and then bolt the mods back on. Realistically speaking there's far better GTRs in Aus and Japan available, especially for the price, as you'll be paying American Wank Factor Tax (similar to Takumi Tax on AE86's) and Australian Import Taxes and Duties. Also Canoodlians can only import cars that are 15 years or older, which means that GTR might be a bit hit or miss.
  23. Nothing wrong with it, especially if you're into involuntary chundering and week long stomach cramps. Been there, awesome food. Little pricey though.
