Can confirm it's the same. In fact, Nissan USA did a recall of it, and replaced it with this puppy: part number "22020-97E25" which is a kit containing a newer ignitor module, a conversion harness (from that shithouse wire clip thing that always goes twangggg and flies somewhere into your engine bay never to be found again) and a mounting bracket to lift it away from the engine and cool it. Whole thing goes for about $170 brand new in the US. Oh and the coils are all the same as a CA18DE/T. The whole fuckin engine is out of an R31 GTS-R if you want to put it in terms the local nissan shops can understand, so all the bolt on parts are the same.

RWC is just RWC, height, tyres, lights, leaking oils, broken seals etc. Before you take it in, give the car a good wash etc and they don't even bother to check if it needs servicing.

So I just had nandos for the 8th workday in a row at Camberwell nandos. Me and my workmate just rock up now, nod and hand over $21.95 and they bring us a whole chicken with hot + bbq sauce, seriously large periperi chips and a 1L coke bottle to our table. winrar!
