  1. well the day you fork over a $120,000 to the guys running it in Targa Tas you can paint it how you want to... part of the Donut King sponsorship package conditions is running Donut King colours... Doubt they'll run stock wheels... not exactly tarmac rally friendly in 20"
  2. lol yeah that whole interior is filled with airbags... you'd be packed like sardines inside it. omg... that's gonna leave so much white powder on my new interior.
  3. I've got a shortlist of 6 guys from dandenong that can do it. If they are mobile then I might try and get them to come see us all on one day. if not I'll try and get them to open up on a saturday or something to do all of us in one go. Will make calls tomorrow.
  4. whoops... didn't realise they were so small... flickr resized em
  5. Bah cbf editing out plates... let me know if you want them deleted.
  6. lol Pat n Kris just left my house with a swag of magazines. Will post up pics shortly, just gotta photoshop out the plates.
  7. prepare for the transformation wonder how much JJR will want for R35 spare parts?
  8. f**k that, while you observe your silence, I'll be pilfering that car for parts.
  9. sorry guys, was meant to ring around but haven't had the time. I'll do it tomorrow. How far are you guys willing to travel? We might be able to convince them to come in on a Saturday to gas us all.
  10. umm actually kinda looks like an OS Giken Sequential 6 Speed box. You suck @ teh idetification game.
  11. Top Secret has a V12 1GZ-FE powered Supra with turbos and the works. It'll be interesting, but pretty hard work. Easier to do an LS1 swap into an R32 for big numbers, there's a couple running around. There's also this beast: using one of these: a Mercedes Benz 600 S Class engine which has been Quad Turbo'd Configuration : V 12 cylinders Capacity : 6715 cc (89 x 90 mm) Valve actuation : 4 over head camshafts, 48 valves Forced induction : 4 turbochargers Max. power : 1000 horsepower Max. torque : Over 100 kgm Clutch : Multiplate Gearbox : 6 speed sequential Chassis : Multipoint rollcage welded to the shell Suspensions : Double whishbones, KW adjustable shocks Brakes : 381 mm discs (front) 355 mm (rear) Wheels : 13 x 18 magnesium Tires : 345/35-18 Length : 1910 mm Width : 1910 mm Height : 1215 mm Weight : 1000 Kg 0 to 60 mph : 3 seconds Quarter mile : 9 seconds Top speed : 220 mph http://skylinev12.neufblog.com/skylinev12/
  12. Craig and Ben should be landing in Osaka tonight for a 3 night stay before heading to Tokyo for Autosalon, I'll see if I can get them to post in here.
  13. dan's a beefcake? since when?
  14. yeah rather than asking for a payment its far easier to coax services... like a barter system. That way the sponsor doesn't feel out of pocket. Unless you can give them a plan which shows a tax benefit from putting your sponsorship down as an investment. Usually they cbf with the paperwork involved. Plus your race team needs to be a registered business etc.
  15. yeah J-Spec don't actually own any of the cars we list... they're sourced from dealers, wholesalers, agents, auctions etc. when a customer wants a car they pay the seller directly. Fairly sure that R35 was from a wholesaler. As soon as it becomes unavailable its taken off the list, but till then its still available for purchase. Craig and Ben are over in japan atm for TAS and to inspect/buy some cars, so they should be checking it out in person though.
  16. all sorted... got a campervan to take back for a company in tulla. sloutch... let me know if you want a lift... I'll be leaving 15th arvo. sure ain't an Enzo, but it's better than a pushy.
  17. does it clear your gigantic ass bones? *ZING* i keed i keed. can't doughnut king just change to like an "icing sugar theme" so they don't have to paint that beast pink?
  18. like the idiot who wrote off his brother's new Bugatti Veyron while showing off to mates, thus becoming the first to write one off, and having his story published around the world? http://www.motorauthority.com/news/superca...i-veyron-smash/
  19. i wonder if the new GT-R's roof is tall enough to clear your noggin danny? You're as good a test of interior design comfort as Jeremy Clarkson and his neanderthal body.
  20. not everyone drives like a hektik muzza behind the wheel of a VL I've sent cars up to Sydney a couple of times now with people goin up that way rather than put it on the back of a truck or a train. As long as you find someone trustworthy and not some random off the street then its actually quite a safe and cheap way of doing it.
  21. lol well it is the first GTR designed to seat white people and their expansive asses behind the steering wheel.
  22. I'm gonna be going to adelaide next month for the Australa/India/Sri Lanka one day double header cricket matches. I've organised flights back, but I'm still unsure as to how I'll get there. Was probably gonna hire a car and drive over there. So... if anyone needs a car taken to Adelaide on or around the weekend of the 15th, let me know. It'll save you transportation fees, and it'll save me hirecar costs. I've got a tradeplate I can use too, so the car doesn't necessarily have to be registered.
  23. oh god. here we go again play nice fellas. IBTL.
  24. Couple of the J-Spec lads, Craig and Ben will be in Japan for TAS, they're heading up to Osaka tomorrow, and then over to Tokyo on Saturday.
