  1. but the net volume flowed through the turbine should be more, which should make up for the lower frequency of pulses.
  2. S15 front on an R32 looks like arse, the S15 face demands a smooth back with curves, ie a S15 or a 180sx. An S15 front on an R32 looks like a S15 front on a S13 silvia with round taillights. The R32 demands a chunky front, to match the chunky butt. Even the S15 front on an S14 is kinda borderline for me, it works only because the s14's kinda rounded at the back. There's a yellow S13 silvia in the US with an S15 front and Skyline tail lights grafted onto it. Looks like a steaming pile of shit. For an R32 you want something butch... why not try a DTM style mercedes, audi or BMW front? Panels are readily available locally, they'll fit the lines of the R32 and it'll be quite different. If you wanna be REAL cheeky, grab a VE commodore frontend and graft it on. VE's look tough as fron the front.
  3. if you're a citizen of a commonwealth country, then you should be able to get a travel visa to australia pretty easily. 12 months is the maximum period. You do have to keep in mind on a travel visa you don't get any benefits... you're also not allowed to work locally. A work visa allows you to get part time or casual work here to supplement your stay. If I were you I'd get a 1 year work visa, canadaians are eligible for subclass 417 work visa's which allow you to work and study locally. http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-ho...y/417/index.htm
  4. try this reading some info on this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ga...al-t134033.html and this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...et-t169915.html thing is most of us use a single 3082R on our engines, usually an RB20 or RB25 (2.0L and 2.5L respectively). What you're suggesting is using two of them on an engine with a displacement more than twice that. Now, turbo's are spooled by exhaust gasses, so assuming your engine burns twice the amount of fuel as ours, it'd make twice the amount of exhaust, which means it should spool two of those about the same as one of those turbo's on a skyline. Its only my guesstimation though. You'd really have to ask someone who works with turbo V8's for a definitive answer. I'd look towards forums in the US, specifically turbo corvette forums.
  5. its just a stepper motor driven by a voltage, I don't see why not, as long as you have a sensor (pressure, temp etc) that can operate in the application you choose you should be good to go. Try autometer, they have sensors and gauges for almost anything.
  6. welcome mate, come along to the many events we have in melb organised by SAU VIC (check the VIC section) and catch up with us.
  7. oh... i don't know... maybe the fact that it has a rear mounted engine and better weight balance and distribution?
  8. haha I found a floppy disk a while back in my old boxes, and it had like 200 pixel by 150 pixel pics of naked wimmen, in 16 colour bitmaps. The dates on the files was like 1994. Ahh the beginnings of my porn collection.
  9. been looking into this myself... what ECU are you running? manual or auto?
  10. happy birthday sunshine steve!
  11. true, but if you have coppers its something you do every few months, so you'd get used to it.
  12. lol it changed all the pig cops to naked chicks. and made the strippers naked.
  13. you sir are a genius. I take my hat off to you. f**k you by my middel finger gen y'er's... find your own cool shit.
  14. some people think so... just like how some people can think an R33 can be made to look good... the whole polishing a turd theory n all that.
  15. pfft that'll teach you to have different nick's on different forums I thought you had sold yours or something?
  16. PM'd him. See how it goes... he seems to like collecting shells, he's got an R32 shell, a R33 sedan shell and is on the hunt for a 180SX shell.
  17. as much as transformers rock, autobots were poofs, they transformed into faggy cars and had gay names. case in point: bumblebee. I realy don't get the number of cars rolling around with transformers badges though. weird.
  18. wtf is a Mars BOV? Do you really want something regulating pressure in your car that seems to be made of recycled coke cans in a third world country run by a military dictatorship? stick to a known brand and lay off the ebay garbage. we don't want you starting a thread a few months down the track goin "omfg, my BOV imploded and chunks of it went into my intake/turbo/intercooler/engine".
  19. considering that looks like a honda oddesy behind it... that's a HUUUUUUUGE bitch.
  20. illegal's fine, everyone has illegal shit on their car, but a 50% tint on your front windscreen kinda makes it hard if not dangerous to drive.
  21. I have a running S14 200SX turbo auto that needs a paintjob and VIV to be put back on the road I can swap for the shell plus cash my way. Shell doesn't need to have an engine, doors, guards etc. Just needs to be undamaged, or have a good repair on whatever that has been damaged previously. Don't care if its registerable or not as it's gonna be a race only car. Obviously don't want a stolen car or something with finance owing. As for price, I won't pay any more than $500, if you can't think of parting with it for less than that, then don't PM or reply to this thread.
  22. pretty sure there's a quick reset on the 2nd generation ones to get you back to neutral, or was it to get into reverse... been ages since I looked into these. All it does is make sure that you don't miss-shift into the wrong gear, its not gonna make you shift any faster than usual. Not really something you'd want on a daily driver. Its not like the sequentials you see in rally cars or circuit racers.
  23. I'm gonna be at Hot BBQ next to Federation Square on the Yarra on New Year's day, so will be having a quiet NYE, probably at some mate's house party or soem shit. But come check out Hot BBQ... tickets are still available (unlike Summerdayz): http://www.futureentertainment.com.au/Even...08_webpage.html
  24. god knows how aftermarkets line up. I tried my stock R32 GTS/GTSt/GTS4 seat in my old man's ceffy and it bolted up with no modifications. cept my 50yr old dad didn't like the "hugginess" of my seat and I didn't like his grandpa spec seat so that swap didn't last for long.
