  1. proper N1's have a different dffusion pattern on the glass, the outer light's reflector is longer as well. plus they're rare as rocking horse shit. even N1 GTR's didn't get them standard, they were optional. lots of people jam GTR grille mounts (which cost about $25) onto standard headlights and sell them for a lot more than they're worth.
  2. god's just an icon of authority, a judge of good and bad that makes people want to adhere to socially correct rules. belief gives hope to the desperate, and guilt/humility gives the affluent peace of mind while they feed off those less well off. the problem is when minorities and intellectually deficit take these social and moral guidelines and twist it to their own ends (hence jihad's, crusades, radicals etc).

  4. call the grammar police on your pasty ass
  5. lol all good, Laurence is one the members on the forum and a resident in japan who buys gear of yahoo auctions for people. PM = private message, which you'll be taken to if you click the link on "PM Laurence". Hope that helps Those estimates I posted are very rough and will vary with exchange rate, but they should be in that ballpark.
  6. think its the whole nasalness of the american accent that irritates me. unfortunately kneeeee-sun is a very nasal sound for them.
  7. FFS those are poverty pack headlights in those pics, not N1. probably worth less than projectors.
  8. you still love teh cawk tho Richard. hehe... great pics dude.. you should do a travel blog thing.
  9. it was only a matter of time before the civic driving ricers got a legitimate skyline/GT-R instead of a Infinity G35 luxobarge. I'd say the GT-R's sales in the US are kinda critical to Nissan profiting on the who venture. Now we just have to wait for american GT-R pundits to start popping up, fake R35 gear on ebay, a civic or accord that has an R35 "inspired" kit, some 4 foot skeletal asian chick draped all over one at "Hot Import Nights", lambo doors, scissor bonnets, neons and naaaws on an R35, and many many other wonderful side effects of giving the americans access to a japanese sports car. On the upside, once some of the american manufacturers get stuck into the engine and car, expect some top notch performance parts and bolt on packages. Its a cut throat industry in the US, where reputation and quality are important... unlike the cheap chinese garbage in Australian "performance parts retailers".
  10. lol that car's got more genuine Nismo parts in it than any other fake 400R you see on Australian roads.
  11. I think I read he destroyed another car after the Stream Z as well... I mean... he is gettin old now.
  12. lol toddlls, you're on drugs... that's not even in the same realm of being feasible. I run a HKS 2530 on my standard RB20... most responsive RB20 I've been strapped into. Not a power monster like Brisby's TD06 RB20 upsized combo beast... but starts spooling at 3500 RPM, bolts in with minimal fuss, very streetable in the wet, and best of all, actually passes emissions when wound down to 8PSI
  13. I wish they'd make a Duke Nukem movie with Bruce Willis... and lots of naked chicks. Hope I'm not the only one who played DN3D with the boobie patch.
  14. that's wierd... I have an utter loathe and hatred for the R33 GTSt's but I think the R33 GTR's are brilliant. They actually look better than an R32 GTR in stock form, have better features, are faster given their added bulk disadvantage, and are newer... and the biggest reason is that they don't look like a VL commonwhore on the inside. That said I wouldn't buy a series 1 R33 GTR, I'd probably buy a S2 or preferably an S3. S1 R33 GTR's are seriously the best bang for buck though, cos you can get em as low as $24,000 these days. R34 GTR's > R33 GTR's but that's to be expected. newer tech, better composite materials etc.
  15. we use NGK BCPR6ES copper's on almost all the RB's that come thru the workshop as part of regular service. They're gapped at 1.1, although if you're running high boost then you'd probably want to go down to a 0.8 Also you can get different sparks if you're having troubles with a cold engine etc, but in general BCPR6ES's are the ones I use... coppers are great if you have the time and patience to learn how to change your own sparks... takes about 20 mins.
  16. I always assumed that was the Omori Factory Nismo R1 demo R33 GTR http://www.nismo.co.jp/shop/shop/omori/engine/r1/index.html so no its not a 400R
  17. dai dead? wtf? how's he writing editorials for the latest issue of option mag then?
  18. d1gp 2005 on PS2?
  19. get a contact cleaner for VHS tape heads etc... one that comes with a long thin tube so you can get into tricky spots... poke a tiny hole in the mesh so the tube can get thru... slide the tube in till its about 1cm away from the sensing element... spray it a little, let it dry, then repeat. Pull the tube out and try your AFM out. something like this:
  20. its top secret's V35 from a couple of years ago. I dunno if Dai should be let back into a V35/350Z after what he did to the last one.
  21. Mickey Thompson ET drag wheels in 15"x8" come in at about 5.5kg a corner.
  22. lol we were having more fun at the workshop dave. roshan killed a kangaroo.
  23. no muppet's bringin em into the country unless it gets listed on the SEVS list first... even garage13 and his pioneering S15 compliancer. Kristian, I thought you'd have made an application? You're usually on top of these things.
  24. funkymonkey

you're also guilty of neons in a skyline
