  1. no... not really. no points for you.
  2. i just got home... it can wait.
  3. that's 3 swift kicks to the nuts already poite. more to come.
  4. i won stage 4 gear for my poopra (when you take on the drag king... or queen... whatever). Did a 1350m wheelie and 7.12 R35 GTR with stage 4 suspension/tyres/wheels and stage 3 engine drives like its on rails and accelerates like a dog with deep heat on its testicles.
  5. wtf? do you sit when you pee too?
  6. undercover anti street drifting cop car flanked on sides by TMU. watch out for this car, they use it to infiltrate street drifts then swoop in with the others. if you see the driver, give him the finger, swear at him and punch him on the cock. true story.
  7. 350Z's are huge in the US, cos the Z33, the G35 and the RX8 are the only decent RWD japanese sports cars they have available to em atm. we're kinda spoilt for choice with 2000 - 2002 model R34's, RX7's, S15's, Supra's etc. I doubt the 350Z revolution will hit Australia as hard as it has hit the US, where its now being used for circuit, street, rice, drift and showpony use. That said there's heeeaps of parts from the US and japan available. 350Z's are oddball in japan... there's lots of parts and support, and lots of tuner built demo cars, but hardly any that are built up on the streets.
  8. Just finished cleaning my kit and did a mock assembly for some photos to put up on ebay... thought I'd share em wtih you.
  9. ahem... consider your rear end buffed
  10. did you spin? looks worse than it is... can be repaired though, we've fixed up ones more banged up than that. Bring it down to driftline if you need a quote.
  11. i'd suggest mark hocking, but I'm not sure if he'd be willing to come up to the tokyo area to accompany you. send him an email and try your luck I guess. As Richard posted above, they can waste all day with one person and make a commission on one car, or they can make money on multiple cars by sticking to routine... so finding one to help you can be a bit tricky. If you're simply after buying a car thru dealers in japan, I'm sure one of our forum members in japan like Laurence or Streeter could help you do some negotiation.
  12. the last stagea cruise I went to had a decent turnout: *runs*
  13. Wanting to see every car that's available to you kind of works against your favour in that the best car for you could be anywhere in japan... its kind of like someone wanting to inspect every single ford falcon in Australia before buying one. What area of japan are you going to be in? That might help narrow down your options so you can personally inspect them.
  14. its been whored around enough it should be common knowledge by now.
  15. talk to any of the following: Japco Wholesalers +61 8 8347 3599 Adelaide Japanese Dismantlers +61 8 8369 1156 http://www.adelaidejap.com.au and D1 Garage http://www.d1garage.com They all bring in containers regularly to adelaide from Japan, and if you're nice to them and share part of the cost I'm sure they'll be willing to offer you some space in their next shipment. Your best bet is having one of the companies who brings in parts regularly ship it for you, or ship using a partially full container load, where you rent space in a container with others like you, and together you make up a full container load. Kiwi specialise in roll on roll off and fully packed containers, so might not be of much help.
  16. lol to be honest i think geoff's the kind of guy that the mob up in qld needs to keep em in line and focussed on the club instead of personal agenda's.
  17. garage zenitani... they do some awesome work.
  18. not at all... have a flick thru this blog and you'll see why that's kinda expected: http://myqcs.blogspot.com
  19. nice... we usually go to the kebab shop on brunswick st if we're in the area... will make sure we come to your stall in the future please tell me you do hotdogs with kransky's instead of frankfurts as well... there's a place on little collins st that does what I've nicknamed the "heartattack hot dog" with a kransky, crispy bacon, onions, cheese, chilli and bbq sauce. sooo f**kin good... no other place I know does it. anywho... google map for your stall
  20. oh yeah... eug is the new mod as of.... now.
  21. some poor sod made you their leader? oh dear. heads will roll.
  22. Pretty simple mod, anyone can do it as long as you have a screwdriver and/or a size 8 socket wrench, and can go to your local hardware shop to buy some long bolts On R32's the PTU is mounted directly onto the rocker cover, and unfortunately is subject to a lot of heat from the engine. This can cause the PTU to overheat and as a result the contacts can warp and wires melt or get brittle from heating/cooling down repeatedly for many years of use. The PTU comes with a heatsink, but unfortunately getting airflow over the PTU can be an exercise in futility, esp if you have a intake pipe running across your engine and strut reinforcement bars etc. The solution is to space the PTU away from the engine or mount it onto the firewall. The latter can be a bit tircky with wires having to be extended and new holes having to be drilled onto the firewall. By spacing the PTU higher up, you can actually move it into the path of airflow under the bonnet, also by getting some space between the engine and the PTU you can improve heat dissipation from the ehatsink (which is unfortunately on the bottom of the PTU). The pic should be self explanatory as to what you need to do: I just used these ones I had lying around in the garage, but ideally I'd wanna make a sleeve to go over the exposed thread, just in case the nut under the PTU holding it up comes loose.
  23. HICAS - R31 skyline, a31 cefiro, s13 silvia ATTESA - bluebird, mid4 all came well before the R32 the thing about Nissan's GTR's and other sports cars is that they give the same performance and technologies of more expensive exotic cars (like the porsche's or the audi's) at a much lower price bracket. the R32 GTR did it back in the day with the old porsche, and now the new GTR is doing the same. What I meant with there being more innovations in the R35 is limited to the Nissan world. the R32 took a lot of concepts from other cars in Nissan's stables and basically sported the cream of the crop. The R35 on the other hand has been designed almost completely different to its stable mates... no other car in the Nissan stable has the same technology (although I'm sure if the GTR is a success then successive models will carry similar technologies).
