  1. I'd wait a lil while for V36 compliance
  2. yeah but he probably drives like a total douche compared to you. that's purely circumstantial. I know a guy who walked into our workshop and traded in his near mint R33 GTSt PLUS CASH for a slightly modified R32 GTSt... all because he was being hassled by his local coppers for driving a car that didn't conform to the P plate power to weight laws. we couldn't believe it... but hey, if he wants to trade then who are we to stop him.
  3. are you saying you can tell a difference between a boxter, cayman, 911 and a cayenne?
  4. according to them it is.
  5. i didn't think people in newcastle ever ventured outside the city limits.
  6. Do Nissan staff ever make any press comments without the word "passion" thrown in for added oomph?
  7. at the end of the day, if there's an idiot willing to pay that amount of money then there'll be an idiot asking that amount for them. it works conversely too. The australian import driving public are the most retarded people when it comes to their grasp on realistic depreciation and market values. R34 GTR's are now in the 40-50,000 mark... we just bought an R34 Nur for 54,000 landed n complied a couple of weeks ago... and yet if you look on the used car market, there's people out there who think their R33 GTR's are still worth 40,000, and their bog stock R34 GTR's are worth 60,000. And the reason these people keep asking their money is because when a car comes into the used car market at well below "dreamer" price, the first thought that embeds itself into people's heads is "there must be something wrong with it, or it wouldn't be so cheap". at the end of the day a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and as long as there are people out there who still think "dreamer" prices are realistic, then the value of the cars will remain at "dreamer" prices.
  8. so umm... i riced up the R35 GTR in Need For Speed Pro Street:
  9. you can thank Laurence on the forums... he runs that site.
  10. you just need to skillfully intertwine the P1 christmas party with the l'oreal christmas party.
  11. the restriction that I put in was more to do with visual clutter than it is about speed. just trying to cut down on the mass of crap that follows each post that detracts from the content. as I said this isn't permanent and i'm open to feedback. lol i'm running on 1680x1050 and even thinking of going back to a 800x600 gives me convulsions... by the same arguement of space restriction vs size restriction, if you're not on broadband then you should upgrade... unfortunately this isn't a viable option for everyone, so we need to try n keep the kb sizes down too... unfortunately controlling the size of sigs hotlinked to the forum is near impossible. avatars on the other hand isn't too hard... just have to force everyone to upload their avatars instead of hotlinking it. inconvenient but possible. sammeh... the restriction is done using an external stylesheet, so the style sheet might still be cached. try loading this page and the doin a ctrl+shift+refresh: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/st...ages/css_17.css for those of you guys running firefox with greasemonkey, its easy to intercept and hack this file to remove the sig restriction (dunno why you'd wanna) but it'll only be for that PC. In any case, I've upped the sig size limit from 550x150 to 600x200 as per the rules (lol I didn't actually read em, thanks Ash)
  12. http://www.dr1ft.jp-a.googlepages.com/dr1ft.jp%3A%3Aevents
  13. lol everyone knows "special edition" gunmetal grey's faster than red when it comes to GTR's.
  14. got the R35... f**k its soooo sweeeeet my drag car's a supra which does 7 second runs... and 700m wheelies. got the pagani zonda for high speed runs got the R35 for grip, its got 600hp and its very very steerable, even int he tight tracks got an S15 for drift, which I still suck at, and am struggling to beat ryo cos of it anywho... pics... put a widebody kit on the R35 and gave it a matte red paintjob n then went all jap two tone tribal style on it.
  15. your best bet would be to get some sort of wi-fi device n get google maps on it. I'd go with something like an ipod touch, or an iphone... they're pretty cheap in japan.
  16. canarygsr picked up two of them yesterday, so still got one pair left.
  17. lol oh is that a volvo in the background? I honestly thought it was an M35 (taillights kinda confused me I guess) do you have to pay a lot of road tax on the stag-barge? all my relos in the UK are constantly complaining about how much road tax they pay.
  18. I think benno should just give up the goose and pop his front shaft in your rear compartment Snowy.
  19. hey art... welcome to the forums... i'll move the thread to the stagea section of the forum, as i'm sure the lads in there would be keen as mustard to chat to ya about your car.
  20. was that at the NAGTROC meet/photoshoot?
  21. r33 and r32 climate control are very different. r33's don't give you as much manual override as the R32.
  22. oh hey that's a brilliant idea... i'll just make a blueprint of the cars I've already got that are detuned power wise, so I can use em on the tighter tracks with better control... coz once you buy the parts, using them in new blueprints is free. skaweet!
  23. sombrero's is so country hick town shepparton. we need new age city slick cool for belgian beer gardens.
  24. $15.50 for a sombrero? isn't it cheaper to just buy the 1L drink? think my local $2 shop has some.
